As I watch as the rest of the band leave their separate ways, me and Wen just stand there in an awkward silence. Both of us wanting to say something but too shy or maybe too scared, to even say anything to one another.

I look up at Wen to see him glancing back down at me which makes me blush.

Looking at my phone I see a text from my grandmother that says "Outside. You and your boyfriend can come out now."

Gram does not listen to me when I tell her Wen and I are just friends. She suspects that I like him which is true but I know he doesn't return the feelings but she doesn't understand me.

As we get in the car, I hop in the backseat so Wen can sit in the front next to my grandmother. After getting in, I turn to see Wen sitting next to me in the backseat. "I thought you were going to sit in the front" I whisper to him so Gram doesn't hear me. "I'd rather sit with you" he says in the soft tone of voice that makes me go crazy.

"Well hello Wen" Gram says turning around and looking at him.

"Hi Ms.White" Wen replies with an innocent smile. "You know, you're welcome over anytime. Besides, I get the feeling that you're gonna be over our house quite often. Olivia really lik-"

"OK GRAM! That's enough personal talk for tonight. How about we start heading home now before it gets too late" I say quickly cutting her off.

I love Gram, but sometimes I wish she wouldn't talk so much for my sake.

As Gram starts to drive off, I can feel Wen staring at me so I turn my head to look out the window so that way he can't see how red my cheeks are from blushing right now.

After about 30 minutes of constant staring and awkward silence in the car, we pull up to my house.

When I get out the car, I open the trunk to get my luggage out of there. I grab one of the suitcases but it's extremely heavy so I almost drop it. That is until Wen comes from out the car and holds onto my suitcase from the other side, steadying it.

"Here, let me help you bring it inside" he says grabbing the suitcase from out my hand.

"No Wen, t-t-that's ok. I-I-I can h-handle it." I say stuttering. "Just trying to do a favor for my favorite girl." Wen responds while winking at me.

I watch him walk inside the house carrying my purple suitcase. I just stand there like a deer caught in headlights. I don't know whether I'm embarrassed that I couldn't carry my own suitcase, or extremely happy because Wen helped me out, winked at me,  AND called me his 'favorite girl'.

"It's gonna be a looonnnggg night for you two." Gram says looking at me with a wide smile.

I secretly roll my eyes so she doesn't see me and then I close the trunk of the car, grab my purse, and head inside. I think now it's time that I finally have a talk with him and tell him how I really feel about him. I've been holding it back long enough.
