One by one
The carve etched on the journey.
The streets were
so cracked to stab
the sole of the blood.
The hairs of a ragged,
ragged dress no longer
protect the pale, pained skin.

Alone, so lonely.
The grass laughs
and the trees whisper.
Singing the wind blows
body and soul.
There is no place to sleep,
only the land willing to accept.
'Till the rain humming
and washed the wound.
Vines carry that skinny body.
"Get some rest,
and enjoy the promptings
of the nature
that brought you away."
