Gloom is what stalks the moon.
Covering it in its despair.
Creating shadow upon the world below.
The wolves’ howls have silenced to only a slow growl.
Crows haunch over, staring.
Staring at the blank foggy gloom that protects the bright moon.
When the Sorrowful Moon appears instead of the Joyful moon.
You will know when to hide.
Dreadful things will come outside.
Only to search for those who screamed and cried.
It only lasts for a few cold nights.
Even if it causes frights.
All of us must hang on for the worst to come.
Hasn't begun.
Roaring screeching ripping and pain.
The sounds aren't to fun today.
Just hang on.
We may have no gun.
No weapons at all.
We must just stay alive till the break of dawn.
Fear may kill us all.
We must open our eyes and come over our childish fears.
I open my eyes as the dusk uncovers the moon.
I am not the dark's prize.
It does not scare me anymore.
Now I know I mustn't cry.
For all the creatures and fears.
Were just one lie.
