[ ― SONG YUQI ]

THE PAST WEEKS before the competition, we were all focused. Everyone was determined to win the grand title.

We held each other's hands as we waited for the emcee's announcement. Isa kami sa tatlong grupo na hindi pa natatawag kaya kabado kami.

"NEOVISION 2018's Grand Champion is. . ."

Kahit hindi namin makuha ang award, it's fine with me. Being able to perform infront of a huge crowd together with these boys is already a great memory for me.

"21st! Congratulations!"

Bigla akong napaangat ng tingin and I saw how surprised the boys also were. We won!

I saw how Taeyong was shaking when the trophy was handed to him. Binigay sa kaniya ang microphone to give a winning speech.

"Thank you very much for giving this great title to 21st. Preparing for this competition was really a tough time for us pero salamat sa suporta niyong lahat. Lalo na sa lahat ng students ng Radcliffe. Thank you for your efforts, we very much appreciated it. To my members, I'm grateful that I know you guys. To our one and only princess, Yuqi, you are a huge blessing to the team."

I gave Taeyong a genuine smile as I nodded. If 21st never existed, panigurado na wala rin ako sa kinalalagyan ko ngayon. I'm very thankful for having these boys in my life, for having these people whom I call family. We are each other's blessing.

Taeyong continued, "Thank you very much from the deepest of our hearts."

The crowd cheered for us once again. We also congratulated the other teams for doing a great performance. It was an amazing competition because of every team's sportsmanship.

I was about to head my way to congratulate the other groups when Lucas suddenly lifted me up and spinned me around, yelling, "We won, man!" seeing how happy he was, I let out a hearty laugh. I gave him a light tap on the back para ibaba niya na ako. He obeyed and he gently put me down on the floor.

Lucas held both of my hands as he swayed it. His smile suddenly turned into a frown. I lightly squeezed his hand in worrisome. "What's wrong?" I asked. Lucas heaved a sigh before looking at me. "Hindi pa pala ako panalo."

"What do you mean?"

"I haven't won your heart yet."

I blinked my eyes repeatedly. My heart started to run wild again at Lucas' words.

"I want to make this day even more special,"

"Song Yuqi, will you be my girlfriend?"

At this moment, I couldn't think of any answer other than, "Yes!"

Lucas softly smiled as he took a step closer. I got flustered when he wrapped my arms around his nape then he swiftly placed his hands on my waist, but I love how he was being respectful. He held me gently. With him, I have nothing to worry about.

Blood rushed up to my cheeks when Lucas slowly leaned down. Napapikit na lang ako ng mata. I suddenly remembered that night when I stayed at his place. Seriously. Never am I gonna let Lucas fool me with his "hang out" plans again!

Lucas' lips were just a few inches away from mine when, "Taeyong, oh! Yung mga bata!" sigaw ni Doyoung kaya bigla kong natulak palayo si Lucas. He gave Doyoung a glare and Doyoung just playfully stucked his tongue at him. I hid my face from them as I awkwardly scratched my cheek.

"Walang forever!" rinig kong sigaw ni Yuta. I saw how Jisoo suddenly smacked him on the head. I let out a chuckle as I watched them being playful with each other.

Lucas placed his arm around my shoulder. I shivered when he suddenly whispered to my ear, "Tuloy na lang natin mamaya." he gave me a wink and I shot him a flustered look.
