Chapter Six

Alexa's POV

I woke up early today and went for a run to clear my head. I have made up my mind to let go and apologize to Josh. It's not gonna be easy seeing he and Riley together but I can't lose my best friends.

I return home and head straight for my room. I walk into my bathroom to take my bath, when I finished,I went to my walk in closet and picked a black lacy gown and white flats.

I'm satisfied with my look as I check myself out in the mirror. I pick my iPhone 8 and purse and head down to the kitchen. My mom left early for work today, so i'm all alone.
I make a toast of nutella and grab a glass of chilled milk.

I finish my breakfast and head out. I get into my car and turn on the radio, treat you better by Shawn Mendes is playing. I sing along as I drive away.
I get to school and park at my usual spot, close to Josh's car. I grab my things and get out of my car.

As soon as I enter the school, I walk straight to my locker. I'm arranging my stuffs when someone grabs my hair. I turn back to see an angry looking Riley.
"Hey babes, why do you look angry!"
I'm shocked when she slaps me across the face.
"Riley what was that for? What did I do wrong?"

"Don't act dumb with me bitch!"
"I know you're lusting over my boyfriend, you snake". I stare at her dumbfounded. "It's not what you think babes". My eyes water as another slap lands on my face.

"Why are you hurting me? I am your best friend Riley", by now a crowd has gathered around us. "Don't call me your best friend bitch, I don't like you". "I hate you! I was only pretending to like you to get closer to Josh" She says with a smirk on her face.
"Now that I have him wrapped around my fingers, I want you to stay away from him or I'll be your worst nightmare"

"You conniving bitch!" I scream as I grab her hair. I attempt to slap her when i'm pushed away, I fall hard and land on my butt.
I look up only to see Josh glaring at me with so much hate. How could he?

"Josh?" I look at him shocked, I'm sure tears are running down my face.
"Why the fuck will you push me?" I
ask crying. "You're being a bitch Alexa!" He shouts at me, his face void of emotions.

"Me? A bitch? She is the bitch here Josh! She is only deceiving you!" I shout back at him whimpering. Then he does something I never thought he could do to me in his entire life. He slapped me hard across the face that I almost lost my balance. I hear gasps from the crowd.

"You too? Your girl friend slapped me earlier, now you?". "I hate you Josh, I will never forgive you" I stammer in anger.
" I don't care Alexa, stay away from us".  "I don't love you and I will never" He says and grabs Riley's waist as she sneers at me. "I love her not you so, deal with that bitch". He adds as he bumps shoulders with me while walking away.

I was heartbroken as hell, I wanted to die when he said those words. To think i was gonna apologize to him, how could he? I hate him so much.
I remain at the same spot, my legs couldn't move. I look around to see that the crowd has dispersed but I could still hear people talking about the incident.
Why did my life turn out this way? I lost two of my best friends, the one I love so much and the other I cared about.

They have succeeded in hurting me. Now I understand why Riley never really cared about me, she was being fake. She is a bitch. I hear the bell signaling that classes have started but still I don't get up.
After 30 mins went by, I finally stood up and grabbed my purse as i ran out of the school.

I hate my life😢😩

Josh's POV

I'm so pissed right now. Alexa made a big mistake trying to hit Riley, how dare she?!
I regret hitting her, I shouldn't have. But I was very angry. Nobody dares my woman and goes scott free, they will pay.

It's lunchtime now and i'm at the cafeteria with Riley sitting at our table. I keep expecting Alexa to walk through those doors, I need to see her and know if she is okay.
Of course she's not jerk, you hurt her.
I can't believe I hurt her, I made her cry. I hate myself now. She is never going to forgive me. I get up and storm out of the cafeteria, leaving Riley alone.
I walk to a random locker in the hallway and punch it hard leaving a big dent on it.

I feel two arms go round my torso. I know it's Riley but i'm not in the mood now. I turn to face her and I notice her eyes start to water.
"She tried to hurt me babe" she says as a tear slid down her cheek. I swipe my thumbs on her cheeks and take her lips in mine.
"It's fine Riley, she got what she deserves"

Did I just say that about Alexa?

Riley's POV

That bitch finally got what she deserved. I never liked her, she feels like she's better than everyone. She's a brat. I only made friends with her because of Josh and I always hated that he had her as a friend. I've known all along that Josh likes me but she is always seeking for his attention.

Yes! I'm jealous of her. I wish I had half the things she did. Her dad is rich and she has everything. She has a happy family. But I have to struggle for everything including my parents' love. I'm glad I taught her a lesson earlier. I couldn't help but smirk when I saw how weak she was when I hit her. She is such a cry baby, Lol.

Josh is mine and anyone that dares to take him away from me will face my wrath especially that bitch called Alexa.

Things have turned really bad between Jalexa and Riley is a real bitch.😢😩
