Chapter Two

Golden clouds surrounded me and then I saw what i never knew i would see again. I see my mom. She is standing at a gate. I quickly went to her. "Mommy I am so happy I am seeing you again." I cried on her and I heard her crying too. "Oh sapphire please don't tell me you are dead too. Baby i didn't want this for you. You need to go back and live your life. Baby please be alive let this be a dream to me that you are here." "But mommy i am dead well actually I'm dying. I wanted to be with you. I didn't want you to be alone. Well actually I didn't want to be alone." My mom cupped my cheek and kissed me on my forehead and hugged me tightly.

"Awe baby girl you have to go back to your body and live. I will always be with you i promise. I love you Sapphire and if you love me you will go and live." "Mommy I love you too and ok i will go back to my body." But before I could give my mom a final hug I was suddenly being pulled down to my body. Beep beep beep the heart monitor sounded saying I was alive. "We have her. She is going to be ok." "Let's make sure she gets home where it is safe. Call any of her local family members." Feet scurried out of the room.

I blacked out again. I finally woke up and everything was blurry. i looked and when my vision finally settled in. There was my grandma sitting beside my bed holding my hand crying. "Gr-grandma? Are you ok? Why are you crying?" "Oh, sapphire baby. You are okay. I came to take you home." I didn't even reply. She picked me up and started carrying me to the car. i felt so weak and helpless i couldn't even fight her back.

The drive to the house felt short and fast as we arrived grandpa opened the door and carried me to my room in their house. I fell asleep instantly. I woke up early nobody else was awake and i looked at the clock and it was only 7:30 in the morning. I walked to the kitchen and made me a bagel with cream cheese. I went upstairs and looked in my closet and saw it was empty. My grandma came into my room.

"Sapphire. are you ok?" "No grandma I really am not ok. I miss her so much. Why did she have to go?" "It was her time to go honey. If you don't want to go to school today i fully understand." "No. I am going to school today. I will just walk home right now and get dressed by the time I'm done I'll be able to walk to school." "No I will drive you home sapphire and i will take you to school."

Before i could even reply she slammed the door and left to her room. I sat in the living room waiting for her to take me home. She came down the stairs and walked right passed me. I felt hurt and walked behind her. The drive to my house was quick, as soon as she parked the car I jumped out and went to my room. I locked my bedroom door and went in the shower.

I used my herbol essence shampoo and conditioner. The scent of it engulfed my lungs and made me relaxed. when I came out the whole bathroom was surrounded by sweet smelling steam. I went to my closet and got dressed. by the time, I was done with my hair my grandma was sucking up the blood with our stain remover vac. "Sapphire the blood is almost gone. Be careful when you walk on the floor cause its wet. Let's go take you to school." "Um ok grandma lets go."

We drove to school and everybody was already there. The bell rung as i was walking to the doors of the school. Everybody was being quiet around me and a lot of people cried when they saw me. Krystal ran to me and hugged me so did my Eric and other people. "Oh, Sassy are you ok?! I am so sorry for your lost. You must be heartbroken." "Aw Krystal i am sad. I miss her a lot and now i must live with my grandma. But I'll be ok. I will make my mom proud of me."

Eric cupped my cheek and kissed me. As school was going he kept me with him and he didn't let me go at all. The bell rung to end school and i was walking home. "Babe want me to take you home?" "No babe i want to walk home. I will talk to you later ok?" "Ok boo" I began walking home and as i was walking a strange light appeared in front of me. "fire water gives you power but now you are what i yearn for this hour." Wait what did i just say? Then it swirled around me and got back in front of me.
