It has been three complete days and the moon has not shifted. Nor have my sisters arrived. I can feel them. I still smell their blood. Though I am immortal, I know I must go hunt for as much blood as I can get. Maybe a male within his twenty-seven years of age. The taste of male blood is so electrifying and nutritional.

We as women we have little time to take care of our bodies as we are to become mothers and give into the hypnotic crave. For us to be what society, expects us to be. Inclosing our blood is poor with a bittersweet taste. Indeed, we are mildly nutritional but we are more of a fatty meal.

Stepping out the house the wet, humid air kissed my face. Allowing me to concentrate on the scents outside of the house. The sound of the squirrels inside the tree too afraid to exit and hunt for food. As a vampire, I'm able to hear within fifteen miles of my exact position now. As if the world were right here on this front porch. There it is the scent I needed. A rich metallic seductive scent.

Causing my mouth to water as if I'm a human receiving a thick steak. Following the scented trail swiftly that's when I saw her. "Naby..." I said silently. Her rich chocolate skin still shined with oils. Amber scent still deeply surrounded her. Her straight healthy hair still contained the golden streaks. She is feeding on a man who could be no more than twenty years of age. His heart beat is feint.

He isn't alone there is someone else I hear their strong heart and blood rushing in their veins. Turning into a bat I flew to his friend silently. She hid in the dark corner struck by fear and not being able to move at all. It's now or never I must feed and save my sisters. Landing behind her I grabbed her and begun to attack.

She wailed her hands trying to cover her neck. Punching me and fighting as if I am becoming weak. Pressing my hand against her mouth I bent to her ear. "Yes, today you were in the wrong place at the wrong time. For I am Maria. One of the vampires that are here to feed upon you humans. Now relax my pet." I whispered in her ear. She steadied her heart beat.

Her muscles relaxed and she tilted her head willingly. I pressed my fangs into her carotid artery. Her blood flowed steadily into my mouth without causing any mess. I only took a pint of blood. Licking her wound she healed. "Thank you, my pet. Now I must ask you to bring a friend here so I may feed properly. Once they appear you shall be free and forget everything that has happened tonight."

"Yes, I will bring a friend." She said taking out her phone. After what seemed to be twenty-nine minutes. A silver Chevrolet Malibu appeared. Her friend exited the vehicle and she enter the vehicle driving away quickly.

"Rachel!" Her friend yelled after her. "Don't worry Rachel will be okay. But you my child you are the one in danger." I spoke stepping out of the shadows. My fangs visible for the girl to see. "Girl I got nothing to be worried about I'm from Detroit we don't play that shit. You best be walking away. Before you get your ass whopped. She said as she tied up her hair. "Hahaha Sweet heart you have no idea who you're dealing with." "Huh wha..." Before she could finish her sentence, I threw her to the far wall. Her body embedded in the brick building she let out a cry of pain. Blood slowly leaving her head. I walked to her as she is unable to move.

"Wh Who are you?" She gurgled through her blood. "I'm your predator and your of course my prey." I spoke. Quickly I bit into her neck and fed. Listening to her strong heart pump blood until weakened by my hunger.

I feel the blood pulsing through me causing my dead heart beat and the girl stiffened. Her body once warm to the touch cold and skin turned rubber like. She fell to the floor like a bag of rocks. "Ha ha Oh maria how I have missed your attacks upon the humans." A voice spoke behind me clapping their hands. I turned to see Naby, her eyes still an innocent gray.
