Sophie gaped at the flashing red screen. "H-huh?" she stuttered. Cold sweat coated her back. "What do you mean, unmatchable?" Sophie demanded. When Brisa and Juji glanced nervously to each other, she slammed her hands down on the crystal table. "What does it mean?"
"I don't know," Brisa whispered, at a loss for words. Sophie sank back into the plush cushions of her chair. The girl cursed her photographic memory, as she knew exactly how she felt right now would be forever imprinted in her mind.
What was this feeling? Sophie's empath ability made it easy for her to decipher feelings, but this sensation was like something she had never felt before.
