I woke up the next morning with my phone still lazily on my ear. I looked to see that Niall hadn't ended the call. I found it cute, but I wondered if he was awake.
"Hello?"I said, sitting up and going to my closet to pick out my outfit.
"You're awake!"Niall said on the other end. The call read 13 hours, and I smiled.
"Yep!"I replied happily, putting the call onto speaker and pulling a blew floral crop top over my head.
"So uh.. Not to seem stalkerish, but when you're done getting ready.. come outside."
Did he really walk to my house? I glanced out my window and saw the boy sitting on the curb, phone pressed to his ear and watching a car go by.
"You're unbelievable,"I giggled, putting on my skinny jeans and gladiator sandals.
"You should thank me,"He replied as I picked up the phone and brought it to my vanity table, taking out my curling iron.
"Thank you, Mr.Horan!"I laughed, and he chuckled. I put in hairspray before and after I curled my hair to make sure they stayed. I was pretty tan compared to some people here, because the sun was never out. I had my belly button pierced, and I was pretty skinny. The crop top showed the belly button ring, a simple diamond. I applied my makeup quickly, and it looked natural. I liked looking natural, not like a crayon raped my face.
I grabbed my simple white Jansport backpack and headed out the door, greeted by Niall who was in a white t-shirt, jeans, and white supra like shoes. I could see that he was checking me out, and I blushed.
"Well hello,"He smirked, and I hit his arm.
"Hi!"I said with a smile, pushing aside the fact that it looked as if he was mentally undressing me. He was my only friend, and we had gotten close over the past 23 hours. We walked for a bit, before he stopped. I turned to him, and he reached his arms out for a hug. I rolled my eyes and set my backpack down before wrapping my arms around the blonde boys neck, and his arms went around my waist. This was a different hug than yesterday, less awkward. His thumb stroked my waist from where my shirt was showing my stomach. Yesterday, I would've pulled away. Today? The switch was flipped and I liked it.
"Uh, we should.. um, get going?"Niall said awkwardly, pulling out of the hug. I agreed and picked up my backpack, and we walked towards the school.
"I'm asking about the carrots underground today!"Niall ended the awkward silence, and I grinned.
"And I'll ask about the potatoes!"I volunteered, and Niall smiled his crooked teethed smile, which made my heart beat a little faster. Did I already like this kid? We walked into the school building, and Jackie jumped out and attacked Niall, pressing her duck lips onto his, his eyes wide as he pushed her off of him.
"Baby!"She whined, and Niall shook his head.
"Don't call me that!"He shouted, causing her to whimper and walk off.
"Why don't you like her? She's perfect."I observed, and Niall shrugged.
"She's not you."He blurted, but covered his mouth. Did he just say that? Something inside told me to grab this boy and kiss him right here, but I was a good girl, I never listened to my instincts.
"What?"I asked, hoping he'd say it again.
"Nothing."He said quickly, and I shook my head. Just then, the bell rang. He went to walk off but I grabbed his arm, stopping him. He turned around and I so wanted to kiss him, right here, right now. I put my hands on his shoulders and pulled him closer to me and kissed his cheek, making him blush.
