I put on nothing too fancy[picture to left] and walked to the front of the hotel room where Niall grabbed my hand. How was I going to tell him? We're only 18.
We walked through the lobby, Niall giving fans smiles and waves. I didn't feel like being seen. Bright camera flashes were everywhere, and we finally made it to the silver rental sports car and climbed into it.
"So, where we going?"I finally spoke, hiding the fear in my voice.
"Surprise."Niall beamed, and his smile was contagious as I found myself smiling as well. We drove for some time before reaching the London Eye, the world famous Ferris Wheel that towered 443 feet into the air. Niall parked and I sat for a second. I was afraid of heights, and Niall knew that.
"It'll be worth it at the top, I promise."He reached out for my hand and I grabbed it as we headed towards the wheel, the lights around it shining. I decided to tell him at the top, since there was no way he could really throw me off .
As the wheel started moving up, I stared at the view. This wasn't the best idea, but it was relaxing. We reached the top and it stopped like usual, for the photo taking purposes. I took a deep breathe, fear kicking in.
"I hate you.."I mumbled, turning away from the glass.
"Oh you do?"He arched his eyebrows, and I nodded, hiding a smile.
"Guess you don't want this then.."He sighed, pulling out a small black velvet box. Curiosity got the better of me.
"What's in there?"I asked, although my heart was 2 steps ahead of me, beating nearly out of my chest. He got down on one knee.
Holy shit, this is not happening. This isn't happening. You're dreaming. Wake up.
"Ariana Rae Montez.. um, will you .. marry me?"He asked nervously, his eyes hopeful. I felt like this was so cliche, the tears falling silently.
"Yes!"I replied as he carefully slipped the ring onto my finger. I wrapped my arms tightly around his neck. I love him -- It was really 'love at first sight', something I never believed in. I then remembered what I needed to tell Niall.
"Well since we're.. engaged and all,"The words felt weird as they slipped off my tongue.
"I think I should tell you something,"I said, and he looked down at me. I took a deep breathe.
Niall's Point of View:
"Niall.. I'm pregnant.."Ariana informed me, her voice shaking. I kept all my thoughts to myself, ones I knew would get us into a fight. I knew I used protection, we were careful, we always have been.
"When did you find out..?"I asked slowly, my arms still around her waist.
"Right before you got back to the hotel.."She looked like she wanted to cry. I tried to think of a time there might've been a slip up.
Prom Night.
That was 2 months ago, which meant she was either 2 months along or she cheated.
I immediately crossed off cheating, having been with her nearly every day. When I wasn't with her, We'd both be in London and she'd be at the hotel.
"H-have you seen anyone else besides me since prom?"I asked, and her eyes got wide as if wondering why I'd ask such a question.
"No!"She replied, and I could tell she wasn't lying. When she lied, she'd immediately look down or play with her thumbs. Right now, she was completely still in front of me, staring right into my eyes.
"That's the only time we didn't use protection,"I stated, and she slowly seemed to catch on.
"That was 2 months ago.."She said, her voice trailing off. It was all my fault, putting her into this position.
When we got back to the hotel, All I did was hold her in my arms. Management would not like this, as I already rebeled just to get engaged. I played with her hair, my head resting on top of hers.
"Are you scared?"I blurted, and she sighed.
"To be honest? Terrified."She admitted, and I felt a twinge of guilt. This could've been prevented if I would've kept it in my pants for an hour longer.
"We've been through alot of things together, Ari.. We can make it through this."I promised.
Ariana's Point of View:
The next morning, I woke up to shouts from the front room of the hotel.
"She's pregnant?! Niall, you're going to ruin the bands image!"Simon yelled.
"I LOVE HER."He shot back. I decided to keep quiet and listen since this clearly involved me.
"YOU'RE BOTH 18, YOU'RE YOUNG AND NAIVE, YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHAT LOVE IS."Simon replied, and reality set in that he was right. We were too young for all of this.
"It sure seems like love, I'd give up One Direction for her and if that's what I have to do to keep her then so. fucking. long."Niall said, and I heard shuffling towards the room. I pretended I was sleeping and he seemed to believe it. The hotel room door slammed shut, making me jump and give away my cover.
"Well, good morning."Niall was sitting at the end of the bed now, and I sat up.
I remembered the ring in my finger and felt a smile creep onto my face.
"Good morning,"I replied before standing up.
"I'm gonna take a walk,"I told Niall, and he nodded before falling backwards onto the bed. Most girls saw Niall as the irish boy from One Direction, the famous one. I saw Niall as the same flirty boy he was 2 years ago. I had a simple pair of sweats on with a Victoria's Secret 'Pink' tank top.
"Can I go with you?"Niall asked as I reached for the door knob.
"Yeah,"I replied, my voice just above a whisper.
We ignored the fans, the paparazzi, everyone. We tried to make it like old times, kicking occasional pebbles on the ground.
"We're gonna run, alright? We're just gonna run and get lost."Niall said, and I wanted nothing more than to run away with him, somewhere he could be without cameras, without worries.
Before I knew it, we were hand in hand running and turning down streets and alleys, through meadows and hills. We had to have been running for hours before we both collapsed in a meadow.
"Well, we're lost."Niall stated the obvious with a smile. He was supposed to be at the studio by 13:00 (1 PM). and it was now an hour past then. He pulled me into a tender kiss, making me forget about all the troubles we were going through.
"Imagine where I'd be if you wouldn't have went to that concert?"Niall was staring at the clouded England sky, a slight breeze blowing through.
"Single,"I replied matter-of-factly.
"I still would've tried to get you back,"He defended. So many people had tried to make me move on, but it was impossible when everywhere I went, something constantly reminded me of him. We started going through various "What If" 's, like "what if we didn't have that art class?" or, "What if I didn't go up to you on that first day?" I felt a drop of rain fall onto my nose.
"Let's go."Niall said as we stood up, continuing to run further into the country side.
"Niall, why?"Harry asked, arms folded in front of him. We had ended up in Holmes Chapel where it just so happened Harry was visiting his family.
"It was one session, Haz."Niall said coolly.
"Your solo got given to Louis!"Harry replied, his voice getting louder. I stood there awkwardly, feeling like I had messed something up.
