Chapter 1

Nagito P.O.V

 I woke up to my very annoying alarm clock. I stretched and then slowly jumped out of bed. I quickly put on clothes and brushed my hair. Then quickly ran downstairs to go eat breakfast. I made myself some eggs and toast. I set my plate on the table before grabbing my phone to text Hanata kun~. 

"Hey good morning Hajime!" I texted to him. then waited and ate my breakfast. After a couple of minutes, I got a text back. "yeah good morning." Hajime texted. I paused, Hajime never sent a message so boring and yet slow. "Hajime what's wrong?" I texted. Soon I got a response. "Well, I'm just very sick." Hajime texted. "Is there anything I can do?!" I texted starting to panic. "No don't worry Izuru is taking care of me." Hajime texted back. "Well talk to later I guess." I texted before putting my phone back in my pocket. 

 I washed my plate and grabbed my bag. Then walked slowly down the street not minding where I was walking. Suddenly I ran into someone. "I'm sorry, here let help you," I said, I looked up and saw Seiko. "No don't I'm fine," Seiko said picking up her stuff. Then I remembered something. "Wait Seiko you are the ultimate pharmacist right?" I said picking up my bag. "Yeah that's right," Seiko said getting up. "Well my friend is very sick and I was wondering if you maybe make him better," I said scratching the back of my head. "I can try, I have never done something like that but I'll try." She said. "Thank you some much!" I said grabbing her hands and then walking away.  

 As I got closer there was Fuyuhiko at the gate with Peko at his side. "Hi, Nagito why isn't Hajime with ya. He is always with ya." Fuyuhiko said as I walked up to them. 

"Oh well he is sick today," I said laughing. 

"That makes sense, came now young master," Peko said walking away.

 "See you guys later," I said as they walked away.

 I walked into the schoolyard and looked around for Souda one of Hajime closest friends. Soon I found him in our classroom waiting for Sonia and Gundam. "Hey Souda," I said walking into the classroom. 

"Ah, Nagito did you see Sonia and Gundam when you were coming here?" Souda said turning his head to look at me.

 "No, but I'm here to tell you that Hajime will not be here today cause he is sick," I said walking a little closer to him.

 "Oh ok, thx. Now I'm gonna continue to wait for Sonia and Gundam." Souda said. 

I walked out of the classroom and went to look where Chiaki was. After a bit, I found her in the back of school by the fountain, where she would meet Hajime. "Oh hi, Nagito." She looking up from her game.

 "Hi Chaiki, I guess I should tell you Hajime will not be here. He is sick." I said sitting down by Chiaki.

 "Oh ok then." She said looking back at her screen. 

"Uh, Chiaki maybe we should go to class. Class starts in about 10 minutes." I said getting up. Chiaki nodded. We walked to the classroom. I looked in to see about half our class. Hmm everyone must be running late today. I thought.

I sat down at my desk. Soon everyone was in the room as we waited for our teacher. (I forgot the name of the teacher sorry!) "Sorry, guys I ran into something I couldn't leave." Our teacher said, "I see that Hajime will not be with us today." They added. The whole class I was off daydreaming of Hajime and I. Soon class ended and it was lunch. I got my lunch out of my bag and started to eat it in the classroom.

"Hey Nagito do you wanna eat with everyone else we were planning on going somewhere," Akane said walking up to my desk. "Sure," I said getting up and grabbing my stuff. I followed her out the classroom and saw everyone else waiting. I walked over to where Chiaki was and followed everyone to where we were gonna eat. "Hey, Chiaki whatcha playing there?" (You can tell I speak very weird. It's just my accent.) I said looking at her screen. "Oh, just the first Zelda game. Wanna play it?" Chiaki said looking up at me. "Sure but I'm probably going to do horribly. I never played video games." I said as she handed me it. After playing it for a bit we arrived at where we were eating. Surprisingly it was my favorite restaurant. As we walked in there were not many people in the restaurant. We sat down at the table and waited for a waiter. After our waiter came, ordered our food and Akane arguing with the waiter about her order we ate. I wasn't that hungry so I ordered from the kid's menu. (I'm a teen and still eat from kids menu) Chiaki and I talked about how she knew Hajime every sense the beginning of high school. After everyone finished eating, we all paid separately and left. We walked back to school as I thought about somethings.

We got back at school and hurried over to our class. Which I got there in time and everyone else didn't. Again the whole class I was daydreaming about Hajime and I. After class I had free time so I went to Seiko's room. "Uh, Seiko are you here?" I said entering the room. "AHH! Nagito you scared me I'm just about with the medicine." Seiko said as she added a bit of stuff she had. After a bit, it looked as if she finished. "Ok, it's done. If anything weird happens tell me immediately." She said as she handed me the medicine. "Thank you, Seiko for doing this!" I said as I walked out of the room.
