Nine
They rode for days towards a mountain where they found a small army gathered ,awaiting the King of Rohan .
All of the soldiers were men . This were something Siri did not like about this world . The way women were treated irked her .
She was glad that the King did not ask her or Cassandra, or any other of the women to leave . She didn't think Leliana would appreciate it . She knew she herself won't .Tents occupied every available space in this huge camp where the soldiers had gathered .
Siri found herself sharing a tent with Cassandra which wasn't fun because Cassandra didn't like her since Anthony still loved her more than he loved anyone else Cassandra included .
She stood outside the tent at this moment looking around while wondering what she really did there .
Her eyes fell on Solas who stood talking to Legolas .
If she didn't come she wouldn't have seen him again . She knew that . Her feelings for him were growing and that was something she didn't need right now .
There were Anthony to think of too . Her feelings for him were still there ,but if it was strong she didn't know .
A soft sigh escapes her lips as she remembers a lot of things about their past . Like her first kiss from Anthony and the other unknown one from Solas .
Which one felt better than the other . She couldn't choose . It was useless because of who she was .
She was Siri Snow-Heart , Dragonborn of Skyrim . And she shouldn't forget that . One day she'd go home again and then she might not see them again .
" I see the way you look at the elf
. Is he special to you ?", a voice said from her left .She looked that way .It was Lady Eowyn .
" He is just a friend ", Siri says hoping to convince Eowyn. It was useless though . Eowyn didn't believe her . Her eyes told Siri that much .
" I think he likes you ", Eowyn says " He looks at you when you're not looking ".
Siri remains silent . Eowyn couldn't possibly be right . Solas did not like humans very much .
Turning on her heels she bends her head to walk into the tent .She was unaware of Cassandra spying on her and she missed the evil smile on her lips .
She had heard Eowyn and now had something that would cause Anthony to leave Siri alone .
()()()()()()()" Aragorn ,why did you ask only me to come along into that mountain that these Rohirrim fears so much ? " , Siri asks as they walked to where their horses were kept .
"The Paths of the Dead is dangerous and I cannot go alone ,so I asked you ", Aragorn answers simply .
She nods . She understood quite clearly that he needed her help right now .
They got to the horses and found that one of the stable hands who came along to help with the horses had his hands full with Shadowmere who seemed to not want to stay where he was .
" Let him be ,he's used to wandering around and believe me he won't bother the mares ", Siri says pleadingly .
The stable hand nods before stepping away from the red eyed horse .
They were just about done with saddling the horses when suddenly Legolas,Solas ,Varric,Gimli,Bull,Cole and Dorian came out of nowhere with already saddled horses .
