Chapter 8

Rachel waited at the Lima Bean for Quinn and Noah, and when they entered, Noah walked to the counter, as Quinn sat down and noticed Rachel's tear stained cheeks and said

"You okay, did someone find about..." Rachel shook her head no and said

"I just want today to be over." Quinn agreed with her, and said

"You and me both Rach." Rachel looked at Quinn and said

"Are you okay?" Quinn sighed and said

"As I can be, Noah got beat up by Karofsky." Rachel was upset and said

"Again?" Quinn nodded her head and said

"Yeah, Noah was the one that got suspended for defending me and you, and Karofsky gets away with it." Rachel was even more upset and said

"He risked his probation to defend us, you and Beth need him more." Quinn put her head in her hands and then said

"Principle Figgins, and Noah's parole office said, it was either suspension or the cell, at least he chose the suspension." As she said that, Noah placed a coffee in front of her and said

"And I'll defend you both again, and you know it, be grateful I was given the choice, and I chose to be suspended." Quinn nodded her head, and said

"I know. What's up with your day?" Rachel sighed and said

"Sick of the never ending stuff, but what can I do." Puck felt for his friend and said

"You know you can talk to us about anything Rach, we have your back, you know that don't you?" Rachel nodded her head and said

"Of course I know." Rachel was pleased for her friends, even if they weren't at Dalton with her, Quinn looked at Rachel and said

"Why don't you, me and the girls do a movie night with them after we bake." Rachel drank her coffee and said

"Sounds like a plan." Quinn hugged her, and said

"I will see you after school Rachie." Quinn left, and Noah said

"It will be okay Rach, I promise. Be grateful I chose the suspension." Rachel nodded her head and said

"But Quinn needs you at school though." Noah sat back in his chair and said

"Which is why I asked Sam to look after her while I'm suspended, at least I will get to spend more time with Beth." Rachel smiled and said

"I know, and I should start heading back to school." Noah hugged Rachel and said

"I'll see you after." Rachel stood up and then left to go back to Dalton, where she saw Hunter. Hunter was annoyed at Rachel, and she knew he was, as he said

"Where were you?" Rachel folded her arms and said

"I told Thad to tell you where I was going." Hunter then took Rachel's hand, and lead her to his dorm, Rachel was slowly starting to panic on the inside, and she didn't know what was going to happen. Once there Hunter let go of her hand and said

"He told me, yet Kurt said you never went anywhere near McKinley." Rachel was mad and said

"You're spying on me now?" Hunter walked towards her and said

"The point is you lied to me." Rachel took a step back and said

"It's okay for you to lie to me, to hurt me, cause me pain and heartache on a daily basis, and it's not okay for me to do the same to you." Rachel turned, opened his dorm and left with tears threatening to spill. She walked passed Sebastian who looked conceded and followed her. Sebastian caught up to her and said

"Rach talk to me, what's going on?" Rachel stopped and said

"It never ends, but what can I do, all I am is a liar and that's all I will ever be" Rachel then walked passed him, with her head down, leaving a concerned Sebastian. Thad walked up to him and said

"What was that about?" Sebastian looked at Thad and said

"I have no idea, but one way or another I'm going to find out, and it's about time i told her." Thad was shocked and said

"Are you sure?" Sebastian nodded his head and said

"I am, I trust her, even if she doesn't trust me yet." Thad was proud of his friend and said

"Instead of telling her, introduce her." Sebastian nodded and then walked in the direction of where Rachel went, he saw her upset, Sebastian walked over to her, stood in front of her and said

"Did you want a distraction?" Rachel looked at him confused and said

"Okay." Sebastian smiled and said

"Let's go then, don't worry Thad got us exempted from the rest of our classes." Rachel followed Sebastian out of Dalton, which didn't go unnoticed to Nick and Jeff, who walked up to Thad and Jeff said

"What is that about?" Thad shook his head at Nick and Jeff and said

"Don't worry about it." Thad watched his friend leave the school with Rachel. Sebastian got into his car, started driving and said

"Rach, where we are going, don't feel pressure at all into talking to me about whatever is going on for the reason you have a wall around you, where we are going, I'm going to show you why I am the way I am and show you what Thad knows." Rachel nodded her head in understanding and said

"Okay, but what about my car." Sebastian drove to the hospital and said

"Don't worry about that, I'll drive you back to Dalton so you can pick it up and drive home." Rachel nodded her head, as Sebastian parked the car in the hospital car park. Rachel was confused and said

"Why are we at the hospital?" Sebastian turned to Rachel and said

"I'll show you." They got out the car, where Rachel followed Sebastian to a room, where he knocked softly and said

"Hey Marley, I'd like you to meet someone." The younger girl looked at her older cousin and said

"Who is it that you want me to meet Sebastian?" Sebastian smiled and said

"Marley, meet my friend Rachel."
