At the coffee house, Ross continuously tried to sell Monica Girl Scout cookies while on the side Rachel and Phoebe were deep in conversation about Joey's reaction to Katrina, careful not to let the boys hear them.

"Hey, where's Katrina?" Joey asked after Ross had chased Monica out of the coffee shop.
"She's at our place, sleeping. Hey you don't mind her staying for a while do you?" Chandler asked hopefully.

"What--- uh, no not at all." Joey said awkwardly as his heart pounded at the thought of Katrina staying there, he didn't know where this was coming from yet, but he couldn't help it. Rachel sat down next to Chandler after talking to Gunther, "I'm training to be better at a job that I hate, my life officially sucks"

"Look Rach, wasn't this supposed to a temporary thing? I thought you wanted to do fashion stuff?" Joey pointed out.
"Well, yeah! I'm still pursuing that." Rachel said.
"How... exactly are you pursuing that? Y'know other than sending out resumes like what, two years ago?" Chandler asked.

"Well, I'm also sending out.... good thoughts." Rachel said unsuringly.
"If you ask me, as long as you got this job, you've got nothing pushing you to get another one. You need the fear." Joey told Rachel.

"The fear?" Rachel questioned.
"He's right, if you quit this job, you then have motivation to go after a job you really want." Chandler agreed.
"Well then how come you're still at a job that you hate, I mean why don't you quit and get 'the fear'?" Rachel asked. Chandler and Joey both laughed.

"Because, I'm too afraid." Chandler said.
"I don't know, I mean I would give anything to work for a designer, y'know, or a buyer.... Oh, I just don't want to be 30 and still work here." Rachel said
"Yeah, that'd be much worse than being 28, and still working here" Chandler responded.

"Rachel?" Gunther questioned.
"Yeah." Rachel replied.
"Remind me to review with you which pot is decaf and which is regular." Gunther told her.
"Can't I just look at the handles on them?" Rachel asked.
"You would think." Gunther said.
"Okay, fine. Gunther, y'know what, I am a terrible waitress, do you know why I'm a terrible waitress? Because, I don't care. I don't care. I don't care which pot is regular and which pot is decaf, I don't care where the tray spot is, I just don't care, this is not what I want to do. So I don't think I should do it anymore. I'm gonna give you my weeks notice." Rachel rambled.

"What?!" Gunther exclaimed.
"Gunther, I quit." Rachel finally said.
Chandler turned to Joey, "Does this mean we're gonna have to start paying for coffee?" Joey shrugged his shoulders.

Meanwhile back at Chandler and Joey's Katrina stood on her toes placing her stuff on a shelf. As Joey walked into the apartment she dropped the book she was carrying on her toe.
"Ow! Damn it!" Katrina exclaimed picking it up as Joey walking in concerned. Seeing the sight in front of him he exclaimed,
"Are you okay?" Joey asked.

"Yeah i'm fine, just dropped this stupid book on my toe."
"Let me get you some ice." he suggested going to pick her up succeeding, as she assured him.

"Joey I can walk." she chuckled as he carried her to the counter placing her on top, he went to the freezer and pulled out some ice wrapping it in a towel and giving it to Katrina.
"Thanks Joey" Katrina smiled slightly their fingers touched and they looked at each other, locking eyes. Joey began to lean in and so did Katrina, however in this moment Rachel walking in.

"Hey Joe do you have--" she stopped looking up from the box of resumes up at the duo who quickly pulled apart Rachel noticed the ice on Katrina's toe and quickly said, "Wait what happened?"
"I just dropped a book on my toe, that's all." Katrina smiled reassuringly.
"What's all that?" Katrina wondered pointing to the box.
"Resumes." Rachel answered.

"Hey, do you mind taking these to the guys and having them stuff the envelopes?" she asked Katrina who hopped off the counter and Rachel put the box in her arms, "Sure." Katrina said uncertain, Rachel smiled at her thankfully and Katrina left to Monica's and Rachel's.

As soon as the door shut, Rachel started to bombard Joey with questions,
"You like her don't you?" Rachel finally asked.
"I-I don't know, I feel all tingly around her. My heartbeat quickens, I get all nervous. And it's only been a day!" Joey wined.
"Joey," Rachel placed a hand on his shoulder, "You have a crush on Chandler's sister." she smiled heartingly at him rubbing his shoulders comfortably.

"What?! No no no! I do not have a crush on," his voice dilated down. "Chandler's sister."
"Oh yes you do." Rachel teased.
"Stop it!"
"I'll leave you to your crush--- I mean thoughts." Rachel said exiting with a grin on her face. Joey sighed and walked to his chair, falling down on it exhaling.
