At Ross's the group sat while Katrina dangled her legs as she sat on the table and Chandler sat near an open window smoking, Joey across the room spoke up,
"Hey, can you close that window Chandler? My nipples can cut glass over here!"
"Wait. Really?! 'Cause mine get me out of tickets." Phoebe exclaimed from next to Katrina.
"Look, you guys I just wanna say, I really, really appreciate you spending this time with me. It's been a pretty hard time right now, so I just wanna say thanks." Ross smiled.
"Can somebody else hug him? I have to stay by the window." Chandler spoke to the group, Katrina got up and hugged the tall boy the two pulled apart and smiled at each other Ross wrapped an arm around the young girls shoulder, "Oh hey, hey, huh, how about this weekend we have a laser disc marathon okay, and maybe a tournament on my new dart board? Huh, huh, what do you think?" he asked walking over to the board to display it.
"Two days of darts, it'll be great!"
"It'll be great for next weekend." Joey told him.
"No, no, no, this weekend guys!" Ross exclaimed.
" It'll be great for next weekend. I mean, it'll be grrreeattt." Joey pointed out.
"What's going on?" Ross asked.
"Well, we were um, sorta invited to go skiing, y'know Rachel's sister's cabin." Phoebe spoke up as Ross dropped his arm from Katrina's shoulder as she awkwardly scotched towards Chandler who went back to the window to smoke again.

"Come on Chan, just let me.." Katrina reached for it.
"No." he spoke clearly holding it away from the girl.
"You let me do it once before."
"Yeah, when I didn't realize how bad it was for you."
"Your such a hypocrite." Katrina muttered snatching the cigars from his hand but as she grabbed one from the box Joey grabbed it out of her hand.
"Joe!" Katrina groaned.
"Your not smoking, there's no hope for Chandler but there's some hope for you." Joey told her handing the box to Chandler, she grumbled as he stuck it back into his pocket.

"Yeah, that's okay, I mean if you guys all have to go away for the first weekend I'm alone by myself, y'know then I totally, totally understand." Ross told the group as Katrina walked back over towards the girls.
"Y'know what, I can stay, I'm gonna stay. 'Cause the last time I went skiing I was to afraid to jump off the chair lift, I just went around and around." Phoebe offered.
"Uh, Pheebs we kinda need you to drive us all up there in your grandmother's cab." Joey told her.
"I'm not good at skiing I'm gonna stay behind." Katrina told Ross.
"In that case I will too." Joey added quickly Katrina raised an eyebrow at him.

"Are you sure you want to stay?" Ross asked Katrina.
"You really don't have to I can stay he's my brother." Monica told her.
"No no it's fine, i'm not good with the cold anyways."
"Uh, Kat what about Rach?" Monica told her.
~~
"Rach i'm sorry I know I promised to go and I shouldn't have because I really don't like skiing and-"
"-Kat it's fine besides why do something you hate?" Rachel nodded as she continued packing.
"So your okay with it?"
"Yeah plus I mean your new to the group no one would miss you anyways." Rachel shot back, Katrina tensed up for a second she knew Rachel was hurting and she didn't mean that at least that's what she hoped.
"okay, i'll see you when you get back." Katrina told her starting to leave.
"Kat." Rachel sighed. "I'm sorry about what I said, I didn't mean it. It's just I am. I am going to miss you so much." Rachel sobbed.
"I'll miss you too Rach, but just think its only for a weekend and we still have phones." Katrina assured her hugging her tightly.

"Your right, your right." she sniffled.
"Rach are you ready?" Monica called.
"Yeah, be out in a sec."
"Have fun Rach." Katrina smiled at her as she got into the car turning around she came face to face with Joey.
"Why aren't you talking to me?" Joey questioned.
"I'm sorry?"
"You've been short with me ever since--"
"-- ever since I practically threw myself on you? Yeah, listen it's not important. Just go and have fun and I have to go take care of Ross."
Before Joey could respond Chandler honked the horn and Rachel smacked him in the head.

"Let's go!" Chandler shouted.
"One second!" Joey shouted back turning around to see nobody.

Katrina leaned up against the closed door as she heard the car drive off she put her hand to her heart as if she could feel it breaking and she was trying to put it back together. She missed him she truly did but she was to embarrassed to talk about that night.

"You like him don't you." Ross spoke up causing Katrina to open her eyes and look at him.
"What no-"
"I see the way you look at him and they way you blush and laugh around him I see how hurt you've been recently after the night in the club what happened that night? After we kissed? You can tell me."

So Katrina ranted to Ross about the whole night in the middle of the hallway.
"Wow." Ross spoke after the conversation.
"You can't tell him about any of this but I think I like him."
Ross furrowed his eyebrows together. "We've all knew since the first time you too met and you don't have to worry about Joey he won't realize until you scream it into his face." Ross sighed wrapping an arm around Katrina leading her to his apartment.
