The bus made a final stop and Light's breath hitched upon seeing a girl. This was Heather. She was 18 at 5'09, black hair with the tips dyed blood red, ,jade blue eyes and about a million freckles on her face. She was light-skinned and wore a Ruby red cloak,a black dress that reached her knees, black pants and black gothic boots that gave her an extra 2 inches of height making her 6'01.

Zero caught Light's behavior and rolled his eyes. "Quit gawking and talk to her already"
"What?!?No!Uh the day isn't right,my hair's a mess,I don't have anything prepared. I'll tell her some other time,when I'm ready." Light stammered.
"Light,"Zero started,"you've been saying that for 5 years now. I've known since eighth grade about your crush on Heather. That's why I helped you two become good friends. You two are my best friends and I only want the best for you two. So at least tell her, okay?"

Light allowed Zero's words sink in. As much as he hated to admit it, Zero did always manage to say things that get you thinking.
'I can't believe he can say shit like this. Man, he doesn't even realize he does it like that.'Light thought before nodding.

Heather went to the where Lyra was seated an talked to Light.
"Hey Light, did you do the homework for English? Also can I copy because I forgot to do it because I was teaching the dance team a new dance to this song

Heather played a little of the song while Light was stuttering
"Y-yeah, here y-y-you,go. Just give it to me at 1st block."
"Thanks owe you." Heather said hugging Light increasing his blush a thousand times.
Zero stifled his laughter at the scene before him until Heather sat down.
"HAHAHAHA T-THAT'S PRICELESS,I CAN'T BREATHE HAHAHA!!" Zero said in between laughs.
"Ha,ha, very funny. How do you do it?" Light said after calming down.
"What do you mean?"
"How do you talk to your crushes like how you talk to me?"
"Easy,I'm taught from birth to act like I normally do,I'm an expert casino player so my poker face is insanely good,and I'm in almost all lead roles in plays so yeah,I'm pretty good at what I do."
"... could you.. teach me?"
"Sure, after practice"
"Which?"
"Soccer"
"Thanks, you're a true friend"
