Chapter 2 (cont)

   Well,here we go again

     "Well,looks like you won,ex,"Gaz said in her uncaring tone.

  "Yeah,I did, sweetheart," Zero responded matching her tone with an icy glare.

   "So, guess your wondering why I'm here," Gaz said smirking and standing up.

   "Yeah, what do you want?" Zero asked.

   "Simple,I'm here to make you mine again,"She said wickedly while licking her lips.

   "Fat chance,I love someone else,"Zero said not losing his glare.

   "Oh? guess I'll have to make sure they understand their place. And that you're MINE!!"

   Zero had enough of this and kicked her in the stomach. She flew back into a wall and spat out in pain. Zero walked to house. Gaz was out cold and the last thing she saw was him walking away.

    Zero was at his locker grabbing his books when he heard singing

  🎵I wrote this while watching you sleep. Behind me on the couch in the studio. So I'm make this about sleep,soft so I don't wake you up. You smile in your sleep so you dig it. Only I can make soft shit and rip..🎵 Light sang

   "You're happy today,"Zero said

   "Heather asked me out to a date,"Light said bubbly.

   "She, asked you? not the other way around?,"Zero said hinting laughter.

   "Yeeeeaaaah,why?"Light asked nervously.

   "OH MY GOD!! HAHAHAHA T-THAT'S PRICELESS!!!"Zero laughed," she made the first move!?? HAHAHA, you need help with that or what?"

   "Laugh it up,I got a date,"Light said smug.

   Zero hit Light in the arm playfully and walked to their class. It was English and Zero was nearly done with the paper he had to write in the time given,30 minutes. He had just had to write one more paragraph.

    "...annnnd done,"Zero said smiling at his work.

  He walks up to the teacher and turned in his work.

   "Thank you Zero,in 10 minutes as well. How do you do that?"The teacher said smiling.

   Zero shrugged,"Don't know, just do."

   The bell rang and Zero began to walk home. Not long after,he heard someone yell.

   "Zero, wait up,"Lyra yelled running up to him

   "What'd you need?" Zero asked.

   "Can you walk me home today?"Lyra asked sweetly.

   "Sure,why not" Zero said shrugging.

  They had walked for about 15 minutes before they arrived at a park.

   "Wanna take a walk?"Zero asked.

  Lyra nodded at took Zero's hand. The two walked around before stopping at a bench and sat down.

  "I forgot the beauty of the park," Zero said appreciating the sunshine.

  "Yeah,"Lyra sighed.

  Zero noticed that she held his hand a little but just ignored it. The two stayed there for about ten minutes. Lyra had fallen asleep while he just chuckled.

   Zero nudged Lyra,"Hey, wake up. We should get you home."

   "Okay,"Lyra said tiredly.

   Zero helped her up and continued to her house. The two arrived at her front door.

   "Thanks for walking me home,and the time we spent at the park," Lyra said shyly.

   "Anything for a friend,"Zero responded.

  Zero bid her goodbye and began to walk to his place before Lyra stopped him. Zero turned around and she planted a small kiss on his cheek before blushing immensely and going inside. Zero touched the spot where she kissed him and smiled.

    'Well,that was nice,' Zero thought smiling.

  He then walks home, singing as he did so.

  
  
   Got a girl from the south side, got           
               braids in her hair.

   First time I see her walk bye,whew,      
        bout to fall out of my chair.
     
        Had to get her number, took me
                      like six weeks.

       But now me and her go way back,
             like Cadillac seats.....

    -the next day-

    Zero was putting away his books for lunch when he heard someone speak.

    "Hey,are you going to the mall today with me and Light?" Heather asked.

    "Yeah,of course. Hey is anyone else coming or is just the three of us again?" Zero said turning around.

   "Yeah,I invited NK, Brian and Cass. They all said they'll come." Light chimed in.

   "Since when did you talk to the most beautiful, popular girl in school?" Heather said surprised at her boyfriend.

    Light just shrugged while Zero chuckled at the two lovers.

  "Anyways,so we might just be mall rats there since I haven't gotten my paycheck yet and Light is the same." Heather said showing her empty wallet.

   "Sometimes I forget that you two are in because of your brains and talent." Zero says shaking his head.

   The trio walked to the mall while unaware that there was a pair of nut brown eyes were watching.

   "So,the mall is where I make you mine again. Works for me HAHAHAHAHA," Gaz laughs out with insanity....
