After the events at the mall, Zero was recuperating at the hospital. Apparently he's exhausted from a lack of sleep so he needs a lot of rest. But enough of that, let's see what his group is doing.

"Alright, so we need to figure out how to protect ourselves from pretty much everything that Zero had to protect us from," NK said in a matter of fact tone.

"Especially Gaz," Princess added.

The group nodded at the fact that Gaz was still out there.

"Okay so, what can we do to have some protection?" Brian inquired.

"Well, Zero has a spell book at his place. It's full of defensive and offensive spells," Light stated.

"Doesn't his house have DNA locks?" Heather asked.

"I'm registered as a key," Taylor said.

"Then it's settled, we'll learn how to use spells," NK said.

The group was where Zero's place was supposed be at.

"Soo, where's his house?" NK asked Taylor.

She simply pointed up as the group saw his futuristic fortress mansion hybrid floating.

"How is that possible?" NK exclaimed.

"It's Zero," Taylor shrugged.

Taylor went up to the house and began the unlocking sequence.

To put into words how Zero gets into his house, think of how Edna from the Incredibles opens her suit room, but add like 20 more procedures. Including DNA scans, blood, and even what happens if they poke a sensitive area.

"And we're in," Taylor said going inside with the group following.

"Any idea where Zero's book is?" Cass inquired.

"Maybe his library?" Taylor said unsure.

"Actually," a voice rang out through the house,"you should check his weapons storage," Lyra said coming down from the ceiling.

"Where'd you come from?" NK asked surprised.

"Zero lets me use his stuff,so I'm registered as a key," Lyra replied.

"Soo, where's the weapon room?" Light asked.

"Actually, I have the spell book right here," Lyra said holding it up," I was planning on healing Zero with it,"

"Oh, wait you cast spells?" NK said surprised.

"Yeah,now where's Zero?"

"I'll show you,"

-30 minutes later-

"..and here he is," NK showed Zero in his hospital bed still out cold.

" Well this'll suck big time,"Lyra said flipping through the pages,"annnnd, here it is"

Lyra placed her hands onto Zero's face and kissed him. It lasted for a minute before she broke it off.

"With lips of revival and love's energy, I renew your health. Now awaken my love," Lyra chanted as Zero began to glow.

He rose above the bed and his clothes morphed back to his casual attire. His eyes then shot open as he gasped for breath. He then landed and looked up at Lyra.

"Thanks for the heal," Zero said.

The whole group the rushed to him and surrounding him in a group hug.

"Gah! Not so tight,true lover's kiss only heals you so much. I'm still sore you know," Zero said pushing his group off him.

"Wait,true lover's kiss?"NK inquired.

"Yeah, it's the spell that rejuvenates the target with the caster's... earnest.. love"Zero said before looking at Lyra,"Ly, did you cast that?"

Lyra simply blushed and looked away.

"Ly, you know that you can't lie to me,"

Instead of answering or looking away, she ran up to Zero and smashed her lips on his. The boy was surprised at first but then lead the kiss. They lasted for a minute before Zero let go.

"Well, guess you owe me an explanation," Zero said holding Lyra's face.

"W-well, I kinda h-had a crush on you s-since seventh grade," Lyra stuttered.

"Really now?"

Lyra blushed and looked away. While most of the group was enjoying the adorable little scene, NK was clenching her fists so tight that her knuckles turned white. Heather noticed and whispered to her.

"Looks like Lyra has more guts than you," Heather teased.

"S-shut up. I-I don't care," NK quietly yelled at Heather.

"Look, if you told him then it might've been your lips he kissed,"Princess whispered.

"I-I, I gotta go," NK said.

"Oh, ok see ya at school then," Zero said waving goodbye.

Okay,so you can tell that in the hospital is a lovey dovey thing so let's focus on NK's walk home.

Said girl was at the brink of tears

"That little prick!!! I was supposed to be with him,not that white bimbo. Ahh!! I've loved you since we met. I've given insanely clear signs. I-I AAAAAAAH!!" NK screamed as she punched a wall.

"Sounds like you do care Kate," Princess said coming from behind NK

"Don't use my real name,"Nk said"only -"

"Zero can call you that?" Princess finished

"Yeah,"

"Look, I'm not gonna tell you that if you tell him that he'll immediately fall in love with you, but I will tell you that a huge weight will be lifted from your chest," Princess said hugging NK.

"I just don't understand, why he didn't choose me,"

"Well for starters, you rejected him when he asked you out," Cass said appearing.

"H-how long h-have you been there?" NK stuttered.

"Long enough," Cass said giving her a pat on the head, " what I do know is that if you didn't act like a such a tsundere to him them maybe he would've kept trying for you again for you,"

  At this point, NK cried into Princess and Cass.

  "So w-what can I d-do?"NK cried.

  "Well, let's see if Zero...." Cass whispered into NK's ear.

  Okay, enough with that. Let's see what Zero and Lyra are doing.

  "Okay, so you're all set Mr. Storm,"The doctor said signing off Zero.

  "Thanks doc, how much do I owe you?" Zero asked.

  "Your plan should cover it,so nothing,"

  "Oh, cool, well see you then,"

  As the boy was walking towards his house, he heard Lyra yell out.

  "ZERO!!" She called running.

  "Hm? Yes love?" Zero said turning around.

  "Can I stay the night with you?" She said looking down shyly.

  "Yeah, of course," Zero said extending his hand," c'mon,"

  Lyra took his hand and walked to his place. All the while, NK was watching with a clenched fist.

  "Fine, I'll be part of your love life if it's the last thing I do," she said before walking away.
