Wish List

I tried catching my breath,
And hushing my voilent heart beat,
But I guess it was no avail.
So I stretched by hands instead,
As if to embrace the infinite horizon.
I admired the two dimensions,
While I was in the middle.
I was heading for the grounds at an unfathomable speed
But still felt the thrill and not terror -
Almost like if I died, I had a second lifeline.
I shut my eyes to pure blackness,
While violent winds hit my smiling face.
I drank no vodka that day,
But world itself felt a blur to me.
My stomach felt funny miles before I struck the ground,
For I was suddenly uplifted,
And I floated gently,
Till my feet gingerly touched the tender grounds.
The hair on my neck were still uprisen,
Ready to take a leap again someday-
'Maybe in my next birth', I thought,
This sky dive is with what I live along.'
For cancer eats me from within-
Starting from the intestine to my heart.
The rules are clear, my insides' a mess,
Life is short, and my wish list endless.
