My office was always quite, so the loud banging at my doors startled me quite a bit. Before I could even say come in, the doors were flung open and my head warrior barged in.
"There is something that we need to show you." He said out of breath.
I quickly got out of my chair and followed him out of the pack house. We walked the path that was taken the previous week. I was starting to get annoyed by this walk. Unless it is something dire, I don't think I need to be involved.
That's when I saw it. Right in front of that big oak tree. Two large paw prints seared into the ground. I reached in to touch the ground, and it crumbled in my fingers. The ground was scorched in and around the paw prints.
     "These are the rogues?"
     "We believe so, Alpha."
I nodded my head and turned to face them. This is a very curious situation, but I'm sure there is a reasonable explanation for it. I started walking back to the house, and just left the warriors there in awe and confusion.

I was on my way to Peyton's house so that I could watch over her rouge for a while. Apparently she doesn't want him alone until we know what he's like. I was just about to the door when I heard a scream from inside.
Shit.
Instincts flooded me and I sprinted the rest of the way to the front door and threw it open. I was looking around, extremely worried, because I am supposed to be babysitting this rogue. I sprinted throughout the house, throwing open every door, until I got to the last door on the upstairs.
I heard groaning from in the room, so I opened the door and hit something immediately.
"Frick! What the hell dude!" Hayden was laying on the floor by the door.
I slid into the room trying not to hit him again, and offered up my hand.
"Why are you on the floor?" I got him up onto his feet and looked over him for wounds. He touched the back of his head gingerly, and when he pulled away his fingers had blood on them.
"I slipped on a towel and hit my head on the dresser. How did you find me?" He asked with a little bit of skepticism in his voice.
"Well. Funny story actually. I was walking over here. Scared for my life. And then I heard an extremely girly scream, and rushed to get to you." The whole time he was searching around the room for something.
"Two things. Why were you scared for your life, and my scream isn't girly jackass." He opened the bedside drawer, and pulled out a bottle of something.
I walked a little closer, and realized what he was holding.
"Hey stop that!" I tried to reach around and grab the bottle of vodka out of his hands, but he pulled it out of my reach.
"What's your damage man!"
"You can't drink that shit it's not good for you!"
"You can't tell me what I can and can't drink"
"It won't even affect you! Your metabolism is way to fast for it!"
"What are you gonna do about it."
He pulled the bottle down quickly, connected it to his lips, and took a big gulp of the alcohol.
Over at the doorway, someone cleared their throat. Hayden's eyes flicked up and he immediately looked frustrated. I turned around to see Luke leaning on the doorway.
"Although your little fight was pretty entertaining, he does have a point. Your metabolism works to fast."
I looked back at Hayden to show that I was right, and mock him like the child I am, and he had the bottle back up at his lips.
"Nice insight alpha, but the amount of wolfsbane in my system still reduces my metabolism to one of a humans, and therefore, drugs and alcohol do affect me in the appropriate manner." I turned back to Luke. I have never heard someone speak so matter of fact and sassy to an alpha before.
Luke shook his head, and then spoke.
"Well here is the thing. No matter how alcohol affects your body, I'm sure there is something on your prescription bottles that advise you not to drink while on them. Speaking of, it's time for you to take them, and I would like for you to come over to my office so that Blake doesn't have to babysit you all day."
Hayden looked like he was going to object, and then just looked mad.
"I'm not a fucking child. There is no reason that I should have to go with you. What am I gonna do run away from here. I literally can't. My stitches will break, and because your sister is gone it's already slowing down my healing even with the miracle drugs in my system. Do you know how much it actually physically hurts to be away from your sister, did you know about that. It actually hurts to be away from the person that you submitted to. And she is gone and I am stuck with you dumbasses who think that you can just boss me..."
The sound of skin on skin contact made me physically cringe and squeeze my eyes shut. When I finally opened my eyes, Hayden was on the ground holding the side of his face, and Luke shaking his hand off.
"Go take your medicine, and meet me in my car once you are finished." Luke promptly walked out of the room, leaving Hayden on the floor and me in awe.
