Aubrey's POV:
It's been a week, no text, no call, nothing. I began to assume whatever had happened was a dream, an illusion from my tired mind telling me everything was a fantasy.
I suddenly snapped out of my daydream as someone came through the stores door, and I clicked my pen sharply.
"Can I have a name please?" I choke up the words, not in the mood to be here this early.

"Rihanna" a womanly voice spoke making me flinch did she say Ari?, my head shot up to an unfamiliar face as I gulped back some air and squinted my wide eyes shut "I.. I'll be one moment" I croak, running through the back of the shop and slamming open the doors to a back ally way.

I felt my body slide down against the brick wall, and collapse onto the floor and I struggled to find air through the forming tears in my eyes. "It never happened" I repeated over and over, screwing my hands into my damp face.

I heard the footsteps of another worker making their way to the door and stood up, wiping away my tears to look some what neutral, even though they probably just saw me run away from a customer.

"You ok Aubrey?" they said, walking over.

"I can't work here anymore, I'm sorry" I sigh, biting my lip and giving them my apron before disappearing to my car. What have I done..

I drive to the only place I know, the only place which feels right. Driving up the hill, straining back any tears which haven't yet left my eyes I find my way to the viewpoint, the place I last felt truly happy.

Sitting on the same log as last week, I look down at the space in which she sat, "I'm so stupid" I scoff, looking over at the urban skyline and as far into the distance as possible.

"I think this is yours" I hear someone say, as my denim jacket swirls around my body. "No way" I say under my breath, looking at the pebbles below me as the hairs on my skin tingle over my body.

"Are you fucking joking" I choke, standing up and pulling her into the tightest a hug I've ever given, with no intentions of letting go. "I'm so pissed off at you right now" I mumble into her warm hoodie, feeling her smile grow.

"Why didn't you call?" I say, my breathe shaky as a tear soaks into her hoodie. "You gave the the wrong number" she giggles, making me realise from the hug.

"Seriously?" I sigh, meeting her eyes for the first time, instantly healing any hurt I've felt the past week. "I just went to your work to try find you to tell you, but they said you'd quit. So I decided to come here. I was going to leave your jacket here with a note because I new you'd find it, but looks like you beat me to it" she says, making me smile knowing she's gone through all that effort just for me.

I pulled her over to the log we previously sat on together, as she continued talking, I couldn't concentrate on her words, instead getting lots in watching the way her lips moved. "Aubrey" she whines, snapping me back into reality as she noticed I've been staring at her lips, making us both blush.

"I was saying, why did you quit your job?" She says, making my blush fade along within my smile, her concerned eyes pressuring me to speak up. I didn't want to come across as something I wasn't, because I couldn't explain how I felt. I had never felt this sort of way for someone before. I had felt love, a connection, but not like this, not so soon, and I didn't know if she felt she same way. I couldn't ruin the friendship by telling her the truth.

"It wasn't paying well, I was doing long shifts daily for practically nothing, and living in LA is expensive" I sigh, pulling a fake excuse.
"But now, I'm not getting paid at all" I laugh slightly, making her sigh.

We sat there for a few minutes, before she sat up and gasped, "what?" I say, making her smile "I could always do with a PA?" She says, making me raise an eyebrow.

"You want me to be your personal assistant?" I scoff, making her nod "It means we get to spend more time together" she smirks, making me perk up to the idea slightly "There's only one catch" she says, before continuing "I'm about to go on tour, so you better be coming" she says, making me sit and think.

"I'm going to get paid to slave around for you and live on a tour bus for several months?" I say, making her frown.

"Sounds good" I laugh, making her smile while pulling me into a hug as we sit and watch the city life. "I've missed you" she sighs in relief, making me pull closer into the hug.

"I've missed to too Ari" I smile to myself as she lays against my shoulder.

Suddenly I notice a flash, and the sound of a camera behind us followed by several footsteps. We both turn around to a couple men with cameras "paparazzi, follow me" she whispers as we both get up and walk over to her car.

The men continue flashing pictures as Ari tries her best to cover her face, clearly not in the mood. "Who's this girl your with Ariana?" "Are you and Pete officially over?" Their questions frustrate me, but she decides to speak up "Her name is Aubrey, and she is someone close to me" she calmly says before hopping into her car.

Someone close to her? Why not say friend? I smile to myself before being interrupted by several bright flashes "Back up" I growl before feeling Ariana pull me into the car "Cmon baby" she says, pulling the door closed.

Baby. I feel my cheeks turn red as she races off before the paparazzi get a chance to follow, I guess shes used to it.

Ariana's POV:
"Welcome home" I sing as we both get out the car, she stand in awe for a second taking it in before following at my heels through the entrance.

Opening the door I notice her mumble under her breathe, her figure standing intimated by the house making her look so cute, wait what am I saying? "You hungry?" I ask, walking her to the kitchen.

"Could I have some water?" She smiles, a I hand her a glass. She takes a sip as her eyes wander around each corner off the room, and begins walking around herself.

"What's in here?" She echoes walking into the studio "Just were I like to play and sing songs" I hum. I hear someone call my name from upstairs as Aubrey continues looking at the instruments. "My producers upstairs mixing some things, I'll be back in a sec" I smile leaving her to it.

"Sup?" I say walking in to see Pharrel with a smug look on his face "listen to this" he says before playing the song he's put together. We both listen as I sit and sing along to the tune "This is everything!" I squeal, putting down the headphones. "Is that Aubrey downstairs?" He giggles "How'd you guess?" I say clueless "You haven't stopped talking about the girl, I could probably tell you as much about her as you know" he laughs making me roll my eyes.

"Let everyone know she's coming on tour as my PA" I say, making in grin "Personal assistant eh?" He chuckles making me moan "Shut up" I say, before running back downstairs.

I notice a faint sound coming from the studio room, sounding like someone singing. To begin I thought it was something on her phone, but as I came closer to her door I realised she was singing.

Tell me why you gotta look at me that way
You know what it does to me
So baby, what you tryna say? Ayy
Lately, all I want is you on top of me
You know where your hands should be
So baby, won't you come show me? Mmm
I got you, I got you dreamin'
You close your eyes and you're screamin'
Play with your mind for no reason
I know you love how I tease it
You know that I'm playin', so don't be mistaken
You already know what I'm thinkin', girl

Girl? I knock on the door and proceed in to hear her clear her throat and place down the guitar she was placing. Her face grew red as she fiddled with her fingers and chewed on the inside of her cheek.

"That was beautiful" I whisper, walking towards her.

"Not as beautiful as you Ariana" she whispers back.
