Thursday,

i went to work by 6 am,

not wanting to bump into you,

i know it was lame,

but you went to the shop and called my name

of course i would hide,

i feel very shy,

how and why would someone like you,

be able to like me because i'm not even pretty

it was a good thing that the counter attendant,

did not saw me came,

so he told you i'm still on my way,

and come back later or the other day

honestly, as my body was busy attending to customers,

my mind was busy thinking of my answer,

i don't know what to say nor do

i still can't understand you

suddenly, i remember a photo of you

with a girl, she's a lot prettier compared to me

you are both smiling happily 

and i don't know why, but jealousy slowly takes over me

so i called you by 11 am

i asked if we could meet at the cafe at lunch

you gladly agreed

making my heart increase its beats

you told me you'll pick me up

but i opposed and told you don't worry

that just wait for me

because i will not stood you up

we met at the cafe

i saw you ordered a frappé

you had a big smile on your face

it is warm just like an embrace

i ordered strawberry shortcake

while yours are blueberry cheesecake

i felt like the words were stuck on my throat

i can't even say a word

i build up all the courage to talk

you look intently at me as i spoke

waiting for every word

until i told you my answer

"hey, i think it's not that bad,"

"what does that mean?"

"i mean, i'm giving you chance"

and with that you looked like the happiest person i'd ever seen.
