When Sozen awoke it was in a dimly lit room with chains binding him in place. His shirt was gone and his seal was writhing on his body.
Confused, tired and assuming the worst Sozen tried to escape only to have his attempts prove futile. Looking up at the ceiling, it appeared to be made of stone leaving Sozen with the assumption he was underground.
Sozen tried to recall what he remembered last but the only memory he had was of Naruto training to perfect the Rasengan for Tsunade... Tsunade had affairs with Orochimaru and there was a battle -
"Argh!" Sozen lost his train of thought as immense pain shot through him.
His scream echoed and likely alerted people of his consciousness. Sozen frowned before gritting his teeth through the pain and lying still. He was aware of multiple points of pain and the fact he felt chakra exhaustion confused him slightly as he didn't remember the battle.
Sozen was somewhat surprised when Kabuto unlocks and opens the door on the far side of the room. Sozen remained silent as the ex-leaf Shinobi was no longer wearing a Konoha headband but a Sound one. He faintly remembered such from the attack on Konoha but the entire day was blurry to him now. He couldn't even remember the recent battle.
"How're you feeling, Sozen?" Kabuto asked with a smile.
Sozen didn't answer, he just glared at Kabuto who seemed to be holding some sort of hostility towards him. There must have been something that happened during the fight with the Sannin. Sozen groaned in pain and winced as he was unable to move his hands to his head.
"Perhaps you need some time under to rest your mind," Kabuto smirked as he pulled out a syringe.
Sozen was many things but not a fool, he had no clue what the hell Kabuto planned on putting in his system. If he didn't fight it, even in this state, he might as well be giving up to Orochimaru.
"No, I won't let you inject me," Sozen hissed through his pain.
"Is that so?" Kabuto mused with a bored look.
As the chains were too tight to even give Sozen room to move, he was utterly helpless as Kabuto moved in a injected the syringe into his neck. The injection itself hurt but there was the uncomfortable feeling of something being pushed through his bloodstream that caused Sozen to give a small cry.
With the mysterious liquid making its way through Sozen's body, he soon fell unconscious under the sedative nature of the drug. Kabuto looked at the boy's wounds that he must have sustained the day the three Sanin fought.
It seemed the boy was rather confused, Kabuto could almost sense his confusion but Sozen was smart. He would figure things out if they didn't use this to their advantage. With that in mind, Kabuto left the sleeping boy to come up with a plan alongside Orochimaru. Little did Kabuto know it didn't matter, Orochimaru had his own plans for Sozen.
When Sozen awoke for the second time, he was chained to a bed, there was only one set of sheets and a rather flat pillow but it was a step up from the stone slab. Despite the change in setting, there was a very different vibe about the place now. Sozen found that out when Kabuto came in and unchained him from the wall wordlessly. As Sozen was sluggishly forced up, he noticed he was still bound at his hands and feet. More means to stop his fighting back.
"Come along, Orochimaru wishes to see you with his new... guest," Kabuto smirked.
Sozen narrowed his eyes, he didn't know a damn thing about the place and here he was stuck with Snakeface and his Medic-Nin follower. Oh, and this 'guest' that Sozen didn't want to meet. Sozen followed Kabuto through several winding, long halls before he was left in an opening that held Orochimaru and someone with their back to Sozen. Even in his state, he could recognize that chakra.
