It was the morning of Halloween, Ian was headed to the Milkovich house to get ready with Mandy, they were going to a costume party and dressing up as an angel and a devil. Ian was wearing a tight white almost see through t-shirt, tight black jeans, a halo crown and of course a large pair of fluffy white wings seeing as he was dressed as an angel. Mandy on the other hand had on a more revealing outfit, it was black leather pants that fit just right on her and a red low-cut crop top, accompanied with the horns, a tail on the back of her pants and a pair of small black wings. "Is Mickey going to the party?" Ian asked, genuinely curious, he had a strange attraction to the dark-haired thug, his best friends' brother. Mickey Milkovich was an odd guy, he was mean and not someone to mess with to most people, but Ian could see past that, Ian could see that the boy was scared, and alone. Ian had tried to become friends with Mickey but he didn't want anything to do with the ginger it seemed. "no, I don't think so." She said finishing up her makeup then looking over to Ian with an intrigued look on her face "why?" she asks very serious and curious now. "no reason, just wondering if he did anything for Halloween ever" Ian tells her, it was mostly true, but Ian knew he sort of wanted to see Mickey. Mandy seems convinced for the most part cause she turns her attention back to her makeup, touching up the bright red lipstick she had just applied. "Mickey never does anything unless it's for himself" she states, suddenly a voice comes from the doorway "Fuck you. For your your information I am doing something this year" Ian whips his head around and sees mickey standing there, he was wearing a very nice tux (where he got it was beyond Ian) but he wasn't thinking about that, all he could think about was how well the tux fit the shorter boy. Ok so maybe Ian liked mickey more than just a friend and he was just realizing it. He knew he found Mickey attractive, but who didn't? Mandy speaks up, snapping him out of his trance "Oh really? What the hell are you supposed to be anyway?" She didn't even look away from the mirror while asking that. But all Ian could do was stare at Mickey. "I seen something online, a sexy skeleton or whatever. Looked cool" he air quoted the word "sexy skeleton" and looked almost ashamed to admit that he was even dressing up. Mandy then turned around to look at mickey who was now leaning up against the door frame. "unless you need something get out, Ian and I are trying to get ready" she says, at the mention of Ian's name mickey turns to look at him with a raised eyebrow. "nice costumes" he says with a wink then immediately turns back to Mandy. "actually, I need you to help with the face paint part of this costume" he stays more than asks. Thank god he was looking at Mandy and couldn't see the insane blush on Ian's cheeks, Mandy nods her head towards Ian "Ian can do it, he's done getting ready anyway" she then tosses a large makeup pallet to Ian and turns back to the mirror. Mickey doesn't say anything or even argue like he normally would, he just went and sat down on the bed in front of Ian "well, lets get to it red" something seemed off about mickey. Ian just couldn't put his finger on it. He opened up the box of colorful makeup. Suddenly Ian was really nervous, he never got nervous around Mickey "Fuck Ian, I'm pretty sure you're going to have to scoot a bit closer if you plan on painting my face. Come here, I don't bite... much" he pats the bed and bites his lip. Was he flirting? As far as Ian knew, Mickey was far from gay, he's heard the Milkovich boy taunting another guy that goes to their school about being gay. Ian can feel the heat rise up from his neck to his cheeks once again. He couldn't help noticing the way Mickey bit his lip. He scooted closer "you got a picture I could reference?" the first time Ian has said anything since Mickey came into the room. For Mickey, it was nice to hear Ian's voice. Lately the red head has been following him around whenever he sees him, something about being friends. Why the Gallagher wants to be friends with him is beyond Mickey's comprehension. But he didn't mind all that much, he just couldn't figure out why he kept pushing Ian away. Mandy had left the room to go make something to eat before they left "So when did you become such a girl?" Mickey finally speaks up. Ian stops what he is doing and looks into Mickeys eyes "hmm?" was all he could say "well, you're hanging out with my sister, but I know you guys aren't fucking, you're pretty damn good at doing my face paint, and you are dressed as an angel to match my sisters costume" He said looking Ian dead in the eyes. "oh, um. I don't know, I uh. It was Mandy's idea" Ian says while rubbing the back of his neck, but in the process gets some black paint smudged on his jaw. Mickey just laughs and shakes his head, the redhead can be cute sometimes "what's with the sudden shyness Gallagher?" Mickey asks. "I don't know, just feeling off today I guess. So I take it you don't like the costumes then?" he asks, laughing slightly and goes back to painting Mickey's face. "No... I do like it. But I don't think it suits you well" Mickey tells his. Ian then stops again to look at Mickey "what do you mean?" Ian tilts his head a little bit "What I mean is, I don't think you're exactly an angel" Mickey tells him while taking the brush out of his hand, making sure he brushes his fingers against Ian's in the process. He knows Ian is gay. he hasn't exactly come out and said it but its pretty obvious. He just wants Ian to admit it, or at least that's the excuse Mickey is telling himself as to why he's doing what he is about to do. Ian is blushing like crazy now, "I think we both know you're far from innocent fire crotch" just then Ian does something unexpected, something that made him want to throw up, but not in a bad way if that makes sense. He launches forward and presses his lips to Mickeys, they were soft, and perfect. Everything Ian had expected. He smelled like cigarettes and mint. Mickey tensed up and Ian was scared he was going to shove him off and beat him up for kissing him, but suddenly Mickey started to kiss back. Mickey did almost throw Ian off of him, he wasn't trying to get Ian to kiss him. He just wanted to see how far he could push him before he admitted to being gay, but before Mickey knew it, he was kissing the ginger back, and he couldn't help but love every second of it. Ian leaned into Mickey pushing him against the bed, Mickey moaned, when Ian pinned his hands above his head. "Oh my God! What the hell guys!?" Mandy had walked into the room and the boys jumped apart so fast Mandy had almost thought she was seeing things. "fuck, Mandy. I can explain" Ian said. Both of the boys were as red as a cherry. Hair messed up and lips swollen and wet from kissing so harshly. "I don't need an explanation but a warning would've been nice. I wasn't exactly too fond of seeing my best friend and brother making out" she says, "you're not mad?" Mickey finally speaks up, but Mandy starts laughing "of course not, I already knew your ass was gay, and I knew Ian was too. Plus, I kind of had a feeling you two had a thing" Ian and Mickey both spoke up at that "what?!" "no, we didn't have a thing, this just happened" Ian says "oh, ok. Well I seen it coming then. But I'm gonna let you guys continue. There will be pizza rolls in the living room, make it fast though, the party is in an hour" she then walks out leaving the two boys alone and embarrassed. "um, so. What now?" Ian asks. "I'm not gay" was all mickey says while sitting down on the edge of the bed. Ian scoffs "yeah, and I'm a natural blonde" mickey jumps up and pushes Ian against the door. "I guess you didn't hear me the first time. I'm. not. Gay." he says in Ian's face "that's not what I was picking up when I had you pinned against the bed and had you moaning underneath me" suddenly Mickey's mouth was attached to Ian's perfect lips once again. They both finally had to come up for air, when they did Ian rested his forehead against Mickeys'. "you coming to that party?" Ian asks, "only if you agree to fix my messed-up face paint, and wipe the rest of it off of your face" Mickey said while laughing. "cool"

Maybe Ian did have a crush on Mickey Milkovich and maybe Mickey just so happened to feel the same way.
