Personality: Normally reserved and quiet, Alex might make the first impression that he doesn't care much for socializing with others but in reality he's really easygoing and happy-go-lucky as he mostly tries to act this way in order to forget about his past, which wasn't exactly an easy one as he grew up not knowing about his late father and being raised only by his mother. Does experience moments where he flies into a slight bit of uncontrolled rage if pushed to that point by whomever or whatever caused it to happen.

Backstory: Born on Earth in New York City, New York on May 15th, 2186, Alex Maverick is the second and youngest son of Allie Maverick and retired marine David Maverick while also being the younger brother of Vincent Maverick. Alex was only a few months old when his father died after being gunned down from stopping a hostage situation. Never having the chance to meet his father, he often grew up wondering what kind of man his father was and often found out about this by reading a diary his uncle kept to himself and gave to Alex when he reached the age of seven years old. The diary often told of how his father always found it in himself to help people even if it costed him his own life in the process and to always question orders during his time as a marine if said orders seemed wrong or too cruel to follow. Alex would keep these specific words engraved into his memory if he ever found himself in a situation like this. And in some years to come, he would indeed find himself in a situation when he and his older brother Vincent joined a private government funded black ops group known as The Shadow Hawks. This group was created to take down terrorist uprisings and did a pretty good job in doing so because wherever the Shadow Hawks went, no terrorists were safe. But one job in particular was the moment where Alex reflected on his late father's words and the moment where he and his older brother separated from one another. Traveling to a guerrilla controlled village located in Colombia, Alex and the other Shadow Hawks would dispose of the guerrillas completely but soon found out that the villagers were forced to fight as well. Alex refused to shoot down the villagers and this caused the leader of his group to have him restrained and watch the villagers be gunned down as his brother also joined in on the slaughter. And from that moment on, Alex never spoke to his brother ever again.
