Chapter 4: Found You

The airport was an hour away, and it was midnight. But Denis knew he would lose a nights sleep before he even started running back to his room.

The car was freezing, but that was the last thing on his mind.

:At the airport:

It was weird; all he had to do was follow a map on his phone to find her. A bit creepy, but it wasn't his fault her number was on the wall.

He walked, went up a floor on an elevator, and walked more. He kept on going until he came across Y/N. She was walking in the middle of the empty airport, putting on her coat.

"Y/N! I found you!" He said, catching up to her. She glared and turned, not acting herself.

"What do you want from me?" She asked.

"Why'd you leave?" He reached out to her, but she moved her arm just in time.

"Why would I tell you? I met you last week."

He remembered what Haley said. There was no telling what she would say. "What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

"That's a lie."

"Can't you just leave me alone?" She finally faced him.

"Just come back home-" he tried to grab her arm again, but she glared even more, moving her arm.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you. Imagine someone sees you, a grown man, trying to, what- kidnap?- a 20 year old girl who has no defense? Have fun in the slammer." Her voice barely broke. She turned and started walking. Denis was glad no one else was around.

"There goes my heart beating. Cause you are the reason, I'm losing my sleep. Please come back now." he whispered. And took a step closer. "And there's goes my mind racing, and you are the reason that I'm still breathing. I'm hopeless now." Another step.

"I'd climb every mountain. And swim every ocean. Just to be with you, and fix what I've broken." Y/N whispered this part, tears starting to form.

"Oh, cause I need you to see that you are the reason." They simultaneously went on. Y/N moved one foot back. Then in a flash, she turned around, ran to him and practically ran into him.

Y/N sniffled. "It's about time." She whispered.

"For what?"

"Someone to care."

He could've shed a tear. "You-you wanna go home?"

"Not yet. They'll think I'm stupid."

"They won't-"

"Not. Yet."

"Okay. We'll check you into a hotel, then."

"Deal."
