It was a relatively normal day, for Lukas Sorrows. Though, this demon's routinely day would be considered treachery. Feast on the souls of the innocent, murder a few annoying sods, the usual.

It was evening - around seven o'clock, and it was darker much earlier now that it was in the dead of winter. Lukas was gazing out the window of his student residence. The demon was being forced by the big man in charge of all Hell itself to pose as a university student, as there were a few students in that residence that were, well... Doing some fucked up shit. Shit like drugs (more commonly weed) and such. Lukas was surprised none of the insufferable bastards had died of an overdose yet. He would've liked to feast on one of their souls.

While he was gazing thoughtfully out his window into the night, the ancient demon rose his brow to hear crashing coming from the bathroom. He was trying to figure out if it was someone trying to rob him, or if it was his roommate Fredrick trying to climb through the window again because he was high on pot. He sighed and stood up from the couch, walking over to the bathroom door, opening it to find the tall frame of a girl scrambling on the floor with a raccoon on top of her.

Lukas blinked at the sight before him. He could act surprised, but he'd witnessed much weirder shit than this. He watched as the raccoon scampered onto the windowsill and out the open window after spotting his presence. He then averted his gaze to the girl on the floor. "I think you'll find attackers aren't the one's that are supposed to be attacked," he stated snarkily.

The girl growled at him, ocean eyes flaring. "It's not my fault a raccoon was sitting on your fucking roof!" She snapped. The girl had freckles speckled over her face, and the fringe covering her forehead showed she was ginger.

Lukas chuckled lightly. Though he found humans to be absolutely idiotic, he found them a little amusing at times. "Why did you decide to climb all the way down from the roof? My roommate left the ladder out by our window," he said in a slightly taunting tone.

This caused the ginger-haired girl to growl under her breath. "I'll have you know I am excellent at parkour!" She said, jumping to her feet.

Lukas rolled his eyes. "Oh, please. You couldn't even fight of a raccoon, let alone jump through the window properly."

The ginger growled. "Well, I can still knock you out!" She snapped, pulling something out of her pocket.

She pointed an old, old brick phone at Lukas. (That's what we call them here in England.) Lukas merely blinked. "...Did you think that was a tazer?" He asked blankly.

The girl glanced down at her phone and quickly searched her pockets again for her tazer, finding she didn't have it. "Shit," she cursed quietly.

"Don't think I can't still punch the shit out of you! I'm still robbing this house!" She said quickly.

Lukas blinked, his amused smirk turning to an uncomfortable cringe. "...This is a college dorm. We're attached to an enormous building full of other students and professors. There's also a button right next to me if I need to call in for an emergency. Considering you have no weapons, I don't think it'd be wise to threaten me when I'm clearly in the surperior position," he replied.

The girl blinked repeatedly, realization slowly landing on her face. "...You're right, I should maybe stop here..." she sighed, seeming defeated.

Lukas stood up. "Good," he said, walking over to the window that had dropped closed, starting to raise it open.

"Now, if you don't mind escorting yourself ou-" Lukas found himself cut off when he was grabbed from behind and pinned against the wall right by the window.

His grey eyes met the vibrant blue orbs of the ginger-haired girl in front of him. "What, you think I'd come in here unprepared? Hah! You really have no idea who I am," she said, sneering up at him.

Lukas blinked, seeming confused. His confusion came both from the fact the girl was so strong and the fact she had changed her stance so quickly. "...Who are you?" He asked slowly, narrowing his eyes at her. He suspected something inhuman about this girl.

The girl simply grinned. "Let's just say I'm like you, except I've got a bit more empathy," she replied.

Lukas rose a brow. She couldn't possibly be a demon? If she were, he would've scented it righy away. Demons have a very strong, smoky and rancid scent that can't meet with human nostrils. The girl's cheeky grin only widened at Lukas's baffled expression. "I like you, Lukas, so I won't take anything too important from you," she said.

She let go of Lukas's now slightly aching shoulder and snatched up a bag of nacho chips from Fredrick's bedside table. "I won't bother you any longer, I know you demons like feasting on your souls in private. I guarentee we'll cross paths again, so don't worry that pretty head of yours," she smiled.

She then climbed to the windowsill, opening the window. Without another peep, she dropped straight out of the window, sending an unusual sense of shock through Lukas, leading him hastily to look out the window. He saw no one on the grass, darkened by a veil of shadow. He backed away a few steps from the window. The girl clearly sent the message she was no puny human, but what else could she be if she weren't a demon?

Lukas groaned tiredly as he closed the window. Before he could further his thoughts, his roomate flung the door of the dorm open, stumbling in and laughing drunkenly. "Oh sweet Satan, have mercy on me..." he whispered, immediately realizing Fred was drunk.

And he'd brought a few friends with him. Female ones...
