A month had passed, and Justin was starting to act weird. "Hey Pet." He whispered, softly kissing me to wake me. I looked at him and he smiled. "Come on." I rolled on top of him and placed tiny kisses on his neck. "Baby..."
"I've been wanting you for two weeks. Come on, I want you inside me." I whispered in his ear. I bit his earlobe and he whimpered. "Come on lover boy..." And then the doorbell rang. "Ignore it. We can just stay home today..."
"It's Micah." He said, frowning. "I can't ignore it." It rang again and I frowned. "Tell you what. We can pick this up later tonight. I'm sorry business has been so demanding lately, I swear we'll do that later." I pouted, but nodded as I gently got off his lap. "Hey." He lifted my chin. "This doesn't mean that I've lost interest, or that I don't find you sexy. Okay?" I nodded softly and he sighed. "You don't believe me, do you?" I shook my head and he smiled softly. "Give me your hand." He took my hand and laid it on his lap. I could feel his member bulging in his boxers. "I don't know how to describe the way you make me feel. I've wanted you just as bad these last few weeks, but I can't find enough time. When I come home I'm exhausted, so I can't at night. And I refuse to half-ass making love to you." He kissed me deeply, making me moan. "Save those for tonight baby doll." He teased and got out of bed. He threw his robe on and walked out to the front door. I smiled and huffed, getting out of bed. I threw one of his T-shirt's on with some of his gym shorts, and walked out, seeing him with Micah. "Micah, I don't-" Micah cleared his throat loudly, announcing my presence to the world. "Micah, I don't get it."
"Trust me. It's the move."
"What is?" I asked and Justin sighed.
"Someone is offering to buy Ladie, for twice her value."
"Okay."
"But if I sell her, either Stormie goes, or stays, getting bottle fed."
"Stormie is not leaving the farm, I refuse."
"If we bottle fed her, it may stunt her growth. The buyer knows it."
"How much is Ladie worth?"
"3.2 million."
"Justin, the foal-"
"Is staying." I interrupted. "And so is Ladie." Justin's eyes softened as he looked at me. "Ladie would be heartbroken if we took her child away from her, and Stormie wouldn't be worth much if her growth was stunted." He nodded.
"Okay then."
"Okay?!"
"I'm not selling." Justin said. "Not thinking humanely, is not moral. Bring the guy up." Micah nodded and walked out. I got dressed for the day in a little black dress and walked out to see a sight I thought I'd never see.
"Carmelia?" The man said and stood up.
"Ian..." I said softly.
"Cece, it's been a while."
"And it will continue to be a while." I snapped. "You may be here on business, but if you talk to me, Micah will show you out. By force if necessary."
"I loved you..."
"And you broke my heart with my best friend. Micah, get him out of my sight!"
"Sir?" Justin nodded and gently pulled me close. I hid in his chest.
"I'm not selling the horse. Get out of my house."
"But-"
"The foal is hers, and the foal stays. Therefore the mother stays."
"But-"
"Get out!" I screamed at him. "Before I claw your eyes out!" I cried into his chest and Micah got him out.
"Easy baby..."
"That bitch doesn't care about Ladie! He wants to torment me."
"What?"
"That man is my ex." I whispered. "I suppose you will want my explanation." He nodded.
"A story for another day. Come on. Let's eat." We ate, and then he went off to work. I sighed and went out to the car. Stepping inside, Micah looked at me.
"Can you take me to the ranch? I need some breathing room." He nodded and pulled out of the parking garage.
"Wanna talk about it?"
"Kinda. Justin has a tendency to overreact." He chuckled.
"Understood." And so I told him the story. The whole, sorrid thing.
"Ian and I met in high school. I was a freshman, he was a senior. The classic story of the freshman dating the senior. It lasted for three years. And I thought we'd get married someday. One day, after work, I decided to surprise him at his house. You know, have fun, if you know what I mean. I was going to give him my v card... When I walked into the house, he was making out with my best friend on the couch. Being the naive innocent girl that I was, I froze. I was crying but I couldn't move. And then he looked up, and I ran. I left my car there, and I just ran home. When I got home, he was waiting there in his oh so sexy Dodge Charger. And then I ran again. My dad found me the next day somewhere in the city. I never went back. My dad went to get the car, told him that if he ever contacted us again, he'd get a restraining order. I closed my heart to everyone I knew, except my father. When I moved out, I found the job at Eddies, and I'd worked there. I made some more friends, and one day, I met a guy at a bar. We dated for a while... broke up... then I met Justin."
"Damn..." he muttered.
"I was dumb and stupid. And it got me so hurt that sometimes I can't function right." We pulled up to the ranch half an hour later and he followed me as I went straight to the barn. What I saw, shocked me. "Get the fuck off my horses!" I screamed at Ian. He snapped his eyes to mine. "Ladie, here now!" Ladie ran to my side as did Stormie. "Call Justin, Micah."
"Yes ma'am." I grabbed Ian and threw him into a stall. I shut the door and locked it.
"You don't touch my babies!" Ian was shocked to say the least. 20 minutes later, Justin ran in. He'd sped up here.
"Where is the slimy bastard?!" He roared. I opened the stall and he grabbed his collar. "You ever come near me, or my fiancé, or my animals again and I will kill you faster than you can blink." He growled. "Got that?!" Ian nodded. A police officer walked in. "Here officer." He threw him in front of the officer. "He tried stealing my horses. And on top of that, he's trespassing on private property. I want a restraining order against him for my fiancé."
"How much are the horses worth?"
"5 million dollars give or take a few thousand."
"Of course sir." He handcuffed him and took him away.
"Baby, it's okay now. It's okay." Justin said, hugging me. "Come on. Lets go to the office and you can calm down." I nodded and we went to his office.
