We finally landed the chariot, otherwise known as the Starbucks Destroyer, down near the stables. I was happy to know the first sight of the year were the dozen or so of pegasi all chattering happily in their spots. Yes, I did say chattering and not neighing or whatever sound pegasi made. That's right- not only do I have super awesome water powers but I can also talk to and understand horses. I walk over to the horses peeking out of the stables, all of them looking excited. I make my way over to a pure white horse, it's mane braided perfectly down it's neck. I stroke it's white hair that feels like silk, but I stop when an unfamiliar voice speaks over my shoulder.

"I don't mean to be exactly rude or anything, but I must have you know that you are in fact petting my horse."

I spin around to see a girl a little older then me, maybe nineteen or so, with sparkling blue eyes that were a shade or so lighter then mine. Her hair matched the horse's perfectly, the sun illuminating her white braided hair. She looked like a snow princess but without the icy vibe, and she spoke in a mannerly and proper way. She was stunningly beautiful, a mix between an Aphrodite and Khione kid, but I could tell she was neither.

"Oh, I'm sorry. She was just so beautiful that I couldn't resist. Plus, she kinda talked to me."

Talked to me? How stupid will this girl think I am? She probably thinks I'm a freak horse whisperer or something.

"Poseidon girl, yeah? I'm Callista, and I just so happen to be your sister."

My mouth dropped right open and I stared at her, going over her features again. Her skin wasn't tan, hair was icy, but her eyes... They were Poseidon's eyes exactly.

"Oh wow. I'm Dy, short for Dynemia. Sorry again for petting your horse- what's it's name?"

"Hey, it's okay. We're sisters right? And her name is Khaleesi, it means queen but in some old language. I thought it suited her perfectly," explains Callista, feeding Khaleesi an apple.

"Are there any other horses here with really cool names?" I ask her, and she creases her eyebrows, thinking for a moment.

"Actually, there are. My best friend Elsa's horse is named Castiella, she's also a beauty. Pure black, nice breed, well behaved. I'll probably introduce you to her soon."

"So this is your first year here?" I ask her.

"Sure is. I came a little early before the summer because some damn Minotaur chased me. Good thing I got one of its horns though and stabbed it right in it's eye. So next time you see the sucker, make sure you get the other," says Callista, and I can't tell if she's serious or just making a joke.

"Will do," I answer. "I got here last year. I heard there's lots of new campers this year, more then usual. That's what my friends told me on the ride here."

"They're indeed correct. I was one of the last ones to arrive and I surprisingly got claimed quickly, but my friend Elsa didn't yet. We arrived at the same time, but we knew eachother from school. Turns out we were both half bloods."

"Elsa sounds pretty cool, you're gonna have to introduce me to her really soon."

"Agreed, but first I'm going to find you your own horse before you steal mine," Callista says, patting Khaleesi on the head. She leads me into the stables like she's been here for years, stopping in front of a large grey painted horse. It was absolutely beautiful. Callista explained that it was a boy, and he didn't have a name yet. She pushed me forward and I approached the horse carefully, being sure not to frighten him. I offered him a carrot and he took it, a smile lighting up my face.

"Good boy," I say, my smile growing larger as the pegasi opened his wings a bit, which meant he trusted me. I stroked his mane, and then looked to his eyes. They weren't black like most of the other horses. Instead, they were dark blue like the ocean.

"Just don't stand there Dynemia, tell him his name," calls out Callista, giving me a thumbs up.

I think for a second, until I look to the water bucket beside him. I peer inside and there inside the water spells out a name- Caspian. Caspian which refered to the large salty sea between Asia and Europe. It was obvious- it was a blessing from my father, who just so happened to find a perfect name for my new friend. I silently said a thank you to Poseidon and pet Cas one more time, then turned back to Callista. We then walked down the hill and towards the Big House, not knowing what awaited us.

As soon as I made my way down the hill and into the middle of the "U" shaped arrangement of all of the cabins for all of the gods, I found myself a target.

Water balloons soared down from the roofs of almost every cabin, including the Poseidon cabin, where on the top two figures stood, a beaming Kade and a beaming Rowan. They also started dating around the time me and Gabe did, and it was weird knowing that some day Rowan could be my sister-in-law. Why I was thinking about this during a full out water balloon attack I have no idea.

Callista ducked out of the way and grabbed a hose attached to the Demeter cabin (they tend to water their plants a lot) and sprayed it directly at me. Other demigods chimed in, the Ares kids such as Aella and Wendy shooting huge Nerf Super Soakers at my already soaked self.

I looked over at Nat who was also being mobbed by water balloons, most of them thrown at her by Darren who stood on the top of the Hecate cabin.

Gabe was with Max and a new girl on the top of the Apollo cabin, all three equipped with hoses and a bucket of water balloons at their feet. Max used her powers (yeah, thanks uncle Zeus,) to make a rain cloud over me, and another new Zeus kid did the same over Nat.

In the midst of me getting soaked with plenty of gallons of water, I felt a hand go to my pocket, which wasn't my hand.

A girl ran away towards the Big House with my wallet, and I chased after her. She was unimaginably fast, and I couldn't keep up with her. I used all my strength to push forward, trying to catch up to the thief. Finally she disappeared, and I looked around madly for her.

"Looking for this?" says a voice behind me, and the girl stood there, dangling my soaked wallet.

I tried to snatch it from her grip but she disappeared again, then reformed behind my back, tapping my shoulder, almost as if she teleported.

"Give me it!" I tell at her, feeling like a useless little kid again in middle school.

"What's the magic word?" She teases, holding my wallet.

"Please!"

"Please isn't the magic word. The magic word is actually abracadabra," she says, throwing me the wallet.

I catch it with ease and I look inside, noticing that twenty bucks and a good five drachmas were missing.

"Atleast you got your wallet back, but I'm not giving you back your money you know."

"You're a Hermes kid, aren't you?" I ask her, stating the most obvious question ever.

"Flora Harrison at your service. New York's finest track runner, pickpocketer, and bank robber," she says, giving me a wink. "Just kidding about the bank robbing part, but it wouldn't be so hard."

I brush myself off, looking down at my soaked clothes. I should have made myself stay dry.

"I'm Dynemia, daughter of Poseidon," I tell her, putting my wallet back in my jeans safely.

"You sure look like one," she states, motioning to my soaked clothes.

"Yeah, I really didn't have time to keep dry," I tell her, looking over her features. She had naturally curly and unkept blonde hair, not my shade blonde but a little darker. She had freckles covering her whole face and her eyes were hazel.

"Well you won't for long," she says, and with that buckets of water crash onto me. The water seeps into my clothes, this time I remind myself to keep dry.

I turn around and standing there was Savannah and Crystal, both standing and smiling sheepishly holding the empty buckets.

"Happy early birthday?" Crystal says, a smirk forming on her lips.

"Oh you are so dead," I tell her, and we both take off running, me chasing her around the cabins.
