After I changed into less wet clothes and took a warm shower, I made my way down to the Mess Hall for dinner. It was already full of many starving and eager demigods waiting for tonight's meal. I took a seat at the Poseidon table with the rest of my siblings; Natalie, Callista, Kade, and Ty. Also joining us was Rowan who was inseperable from her boyfriend. I often liked to tease Kade and Rowan when he took her out on dates, especially like last Feburary when she wrote me and told me all about their fancy dinner at some fancy New York restaurant.

Ty sat at the end of the table conversing with Natalie and Callista, the three of them talking about something I didn't quite pick up on, but I bet they were teasing me about Gabe and all the sexual fantasies they wanted us to have at almost sixteen.

I went to get up to go see Gabe, but a few girls stopped me. I recongnized a few, only Adriana and Crystal. There were two others behind them who I didn't know yet. Adriana cleared her throat and turned to me, her perfectly curled brown hair falling in front of her face slightly.

"I came here to propose an idea to you. I say that for your birthday, I am arranging a sleepover tonight in the Aphrodite cabin," she says sweetly, batting her eyelashes like she knows what my answer would be.

Of course it would be no. It wasn't that I didn't trust Adri or Crystal, it was just the fact of sleepovers creeped me out. Plus, I've never even had a sleepover or been to one. (Does the ones making pillow forts with Natalie count when we were seven?)

But then again, they were trying to be nice to me and I appreciated that since I was still shook up about Aslynn's death.

So instead of saying no, I thought to myself, why not ask my darling baby sister if she would join me?

"Nat!" I called, waving her over. She pointed to herself and tilted her head, almost to say who me? in a joking matter. I glared at her and she eventually stood up from the other end of the table, then slid down next to me, staring at Adriana like she was from another planet.

"Adriana came and asked me if she could throw me a sleepover for my birthday tomorrow. I thought since your birthday is also in a few months, you should come and celebrate yours too!" I say in a plastic-barbie tone, nudging her with my foot under the table.

She gave me a deadpanned look and panic arose in her eyes, and she started to kick me under the picnic table. I knew her well enough to know exactly what she was thinking- No way in hell would she.

Natalie started to talk, muttering a little and I kicked her under the table, turning to Adriana and the three girls behind her.

"She would be honored to Adri, thank you sooo much for the offer. We'll be there tonight after the campfire, I'm sure it will go great," I return, batting my eyelashes.

Adriana gave me a thumbs up and walked back away to the Aphrodite table with her other sisters.

"Why in the name of Zeus would you tell that makeup hoarder that I wanna go to a sleepover with her? You know I like Adriana but I hate the Aphrodite cabin."

"That's exactly why I invited you," I tell her, still keeping on the plastic barbie act.

Natalie let out a sigh and glared at me, then announced before getting up and moving. "Fine, I'll go, but I get the first slice of cake and I'm not playing dress up or joining in their tea party."

"Deal," I tell her, sipping on the Coke in front of me, watching her sit back with our brothers with a scowl on her face.

**********

I looked like a whole different person. My face was caked in beauty products, to many to even name. My hair was curled to the point it hurt my head, my eyebrows were filled in to where they looked like an overly sized caterpillar, my skin was a shade darker then usual, and don't even get me started on the matching pink lipstick and eyeshadow. I looked like defected Barbie.
