Jonathan's POV
I had to get out of there, so I sent them to their rooms.
'Your Majesty, are you alright?', Ana asked, reappearing.
'Yes everything's fine', I said rigidly.
'That's a lovely young girl you were talking to', she said carefully.
'Morgenstern's don't fall in love', I said, before getting off my throne and going to get ready for dinner.Xxxxxx
Your POV
'This is a nice dinner', you said, breaking the silence.
You all sat around a long wooden table that was laden with foods of all sort.
'Thankyou', Jonathan said.
'Lovely food', you muttered.
'Do I get extra points if I act like I care?', Alec asked.
'You expect us to be civil after everything you've done?', Jace asked, his food lay untouched.
'I have no sense of decency, that way my other senses are heightened', Jonathan said, digging into his chicken.
'The best I can give you is a fake smile and dead eyes', Jace said, glaring at Jonathan.
'You'll have to excuse him, he's himself today', you said, looking at Jonathan.
He smiled at you.
Crap.
'Y/n you haven't touched your meat', Jonathan pointed out.
'I'm a vego', you said, then seeing his questioning look you reiterated 'I'm a vegetarian.'
'So what is your evil plan Sebastian?', Clary asked, putting down her cutlery.
'Mmm, take over the world, kill all the good guys, burn down animal shelters, the usual?', Jace cut in, before Jonathan could say anything.
'I am looking for a wife', Jonathan said.
Jace proceeded to drop his wineglass.
'Okay. Um, how exactly do you plan on completing this impossible task?', Izzy piped up from the end of the table.
'I need someone to sit by me, in a throne', he said, as if it was perfectly obvious.
'What about Clary?', Simon asked, his brown hair flopping in front of his eyes.
'I understand that if I ever fall, she will reign in my place, but I need a wife for the social expectancies', he said, shrugging.
'Oh okay, I get it. You're completely insane', you said, nodding as if it all made sense.
'Sebastian, this is crazy', Clary declared.
'Its just business', he said, looking amused.
'Why do you call him Sebastian?', you piped up, suddenly everyone's gaze was on you.
'I prefer it to Jonathan', Jonathan explained.
'So just call me Sebastian', he said, sipping from his wineglass.
'Sure thing. Jonathan', you said, winking at him.
He just smiled at you through his wineglass.
'I'm going to bed', Jace said, standing up.
Clary soon followed, then after that everyone left in a stampede.
'You aren't going to leave?', Jonathan asked, watching you from his chair.
'No. This place, it reminds me of home', you said, looking at the grand dining room.
'Tell me more about yourself', Jonathan said, coming and sitting next to you.
'Why should I?', you asked, eyeing him down.
'Because I asked?'
You could smell his cologne and it was driving you wild.
(It probably said as much on the label)
'Okay. I was brought up in Wales, in a big old Victorian house on a hill. Magnus told me it once belonged to a man named Axel Mortiman. I was homeschooled, and trained by my tutors. Once I turned sixteen, I wanted to travel, but Magnus didn't want me to. Eventually after the whole thing with your dad, and you, blew over I was able to finally travel. I met Clary and Jace, Izzy and Alec, and Simon. I found out I was a Shadowhunter. I also found out I was Jace's sister, the Endarkened woke up from their nap, and here I am', you finished.
'You're Jace's sister?', he said, incredulously.
'Erm yes?', you said questioningly.
'I wasn't aware Jace had a sister', Jonathan said, looking slightly annoyed.
'Well neither did he until a few months ago', you shrugged.
'I see', he said.
You spent the rest of the night telling him about yourself and then in the early hours of the morning, you dragged yourself to bed and dreamt of white hair and green eyes.
