A Day Off

*The Next Morning*

"You just called Merlin and said we were taking the day off?" I begin inspecting the hickeys on my neck and collarbone, having to move my t-shirt collar around to see them all. It's shocking how in the moment I crave them, but now I couldn't be more flustered by the number of bruises on me.

"No, Merlin called me," Eggsy washes off his razor before going to shave more of his face. "And he gave us the day off because of last night. It was your first mission, and even if it wasn't as crazy as what I went through for my first mission, it can still take a lot out of a person. Also, you need to let those bruises heal," he smirks, sending a wink my way. "Don't question a day off."

"I'm not questioning it," I let go of my shirt collar, accepting that I'll have to wear scarfs to work to cover the marks. "Third day as a Kingsman and I get to spend it chilling at home with my boyfriend. That is all I have wanted to do for so many months now."

"Video games and Nando's sound good to you?"

"Sound like old times. Not the good old times because a lot of shit happened back in our youth, but it was still enjoyable during those special moments of us together."

Eggsy chuckles while placing his razor back in it's holding place. Then he quick pats his face dry with a hand towel. "The main reason that I decided to go with those two things is because it was the silver lining in our dark times. But, does it sound good for today?"

"It sounds wonderful. It sounds like a perfect way to spend our day off. Maybe call your mom and have her and Daisy come over for dinner. We can cook instead of getting take-out since we'll have the time."

"I can do that. I'd love to make dinner with you."

"Good," I smile, picking up my phone to find a good playlist to listen to. "I'll just have to figure out a way to cover these hickeys."

"You can think while we take a shower," Eggsy smirks, bumping my hip with his.

"Just as long as you don't give me anymore while we're in there," I tap a playlist with the greatest hits from the 80s, turning the volume up on my phone.

"I make no promises. You are too beautiful for me to not kiss, and sometimes I get a little carried away."

I roll my eyes, "I can't believe you sometimes, but I guess that's just another reason why I love you."

"I'd love to see a list off all the reasons why you love me," Eggsy pats my butt before going over to turn the shower on.

"Isn't that just wedding vows?" I giggle as I strip out of my pajamas.

"Please don't tell me that my mum is talking to you behind my back about getting married," he groans, following my lead of stepping out of his clothes.

"No, no," I shake my head, stepping into the shower. "It's just a coincidence. I know that you will propose when ready. Unless you don't want to marry me, and then I would be quite sad."

"I want to marry you," Eggsy steps into the shower, closing the glass door behind him. "Our relationship hasn't had time to be just that, so I want to just be with you for a little bit. I don't want to worry about planning a wedding, and I definitely don't want to answer the when are we going to have kids' question. I don't think that what we do in our relationship is anyone's business anyways. We'll get to the next step when we are ready."

I giggle, stepping into the water to get my hair wet. "You are so cute, Eggsy. I'm not in any hurry to do anything, so I just laugh the questions off. I just love being with you, so getting married would just mean that we do that even ore. We are already pretty inseparable, so I don't know how we can spend even more time together."
