"OH COME ON YOU GUYS!" paradyse exclaims to us for the third time, "let's do some stupid shit! what are we supposed to do, just sit here?"

"yes, and avoid getting caught by y/n's furious relatives." pierre says.

"they're not gonna look for us! why should they?"

"oh i don't know, maybe because finn decided it would be a good idea to pull the fucking fire alarm!" pierre snaps back.

"oh so you're blaming this on finn now?" paradyse almost yells at pierre.

"stop it!" y/n breaks up their bickering, "you guys sound like an old married couple! and that isn't a good thing considering you're twins." they both go quiet.

"we're not doing either of that stuff, so you guys can both quit it." i chime in.

paradyse gives me a stare, "okay, what's your idea?"

i don't answer, instead, i call nick. everybody just stares at me.

"hi, yeah, can you come pick us up?"

"..."

"no, no. um, we're not there anymore. we're at, uhh...clark avenue near that sushi place we always—"

"..."

"yeah, there. um, i'll explain when you're here. come quick. okay, bye."

the same looks on pierre and paradyse's faces are there when i hang up.

"you called your brother?" paradyse asks, kind of sassily.

"yeah, unless you happen to have a car?" i answer the same way.

"whatever." she simply says.

"fuck this shit, i'm going to that sushi place you were talking about. you get kind of hungry when you're in a coffin for three days." y/n says.

paradyse tries to stop her, but i grab her wrist before she can catch up to her, "what?" she asks me.

i let go of her wrist, "stay here with pierre." i say sternly. she just stares back at me the same way.
