The Broken Boy

The Broken boy with nothing to do
His friends were fake and plastic
They left him to die
Now all alone to cry
He contemplates death quite often

He's tried a few times
It's treated as a lie and that his emotions aren't there
When in truth here he is sitting
A box cutter in hand
No food in his stomach
And no will to live

He starved himself feeling unworthy of the food presented
He's told he should die and that no one would care
The Kind Girl finds him and takes the box cutter
Throwing it away
She tell him to eat and that's he's cared for
He calls her a liar and cries

She speaks softly and gently saying she speaks the truth she says , if no one cares then why am I right here trying to help and comfort you , he looks up to her finally and wipes the tears and gently hugs her , she prepares him a meal and makes him a deal , if he takes care of himself then she'll do something in return for him .

He asks her what she'll do and she replies with a simple
'Whatever you'd like me to do with reservations of course
Once he's eaten she tells him to shower and make himself look nice for himself , if for no one else than do it for yourself she tells him , he complies as she decides to clean up the boys house for him ,

he lives alone both parents gone from a terrible car accident , no one left to care for him , his family didn't want the responsibility of him so he was left alone in their old house till she came

She was the only friend he'd ever truly had one that was there that wasn't fake . She stayed with him and helped him get back on his feet and to get through his depression , together they were invincible .

Looking back at this from years later the boy and the girl became a man and a woman and together they lived , married with a child , the man remembers what the girl did for him and thanks her everyday , she was his second chance and he was glad he took it and didn't push her away .

The broken boy became an emotionally strong man .
