Im afraid to open my eyes. Am I you know...dead? I open one eye, then the other. I'm in a white room. And I'm afraid to get up. If I do, something bad is going to happen. And I'm not big on surprises. But I put my thoughts aside...and I got up. On the other side of the room I saw someone. He was dressed in all white.

"It's about time. You have to choose my dear." He said. "Choose what? Who are you?" I said getting closer to him, but he's facing the other way so I can't see him. "Choose weather you would like to stay or go. I am-" "God. Your god? That's not possible, you aren't real." God isn't real. He doesn't exist...
"It is possible and I'm very real. Now would you like to go back?" Did I want to go back?
"Yes." Was what I decided to say. "Your decisions been made. Beware." "Of who? Of what?"
"She's dangerous Jane and you're number one on her list." He starts to fade away.
"Don't leave! Who's list? Please tell me!"
He turned around for a split second and said, "Your mothers." And he disappears and my eyes are back to being closed. Am I back? I open my eyes and try to breath. It's almost a struggle to get the air out.

I see Mahogany and she screams. "SHES AWAKE! SHES AWAKE GET A DOCTOR OR SOMETHING! DOCTOR DOCTOR SHES UP!" Then she jumps on me squeezing me. I was in a bunch of pain, my ribs hurt, my leg hurt, my arms hurt, but mainly my head. My head hurt so very badly. The doctor came in did some tests then they left me in the room with Mahogany and all the boys. "How bad is it?" I ask. "You only have a broken leg, two broken ribs, and a fractured wrist-"

"No Mahogany! I mean when are they taking me away." Mahogany's face went from happy to sad like the flick of a light switch. Oh. About that. Your not going back to foster care..."
"No way! Really?"
"No Jane...you're not going back to because your mom is taking you." Everyone in the room was silent and looking at me. Until the door opened she came in.
"Alright everyone out." She said and everyone looked at me. "No. Anything you need to say you can say to all of us." She smiles, but it's not like a happy smile it's more like...'I wanna kill you all' smile. "ok. Well we found out during your testing that you have cancer. So you have to come home with me TODAY and we will get you in bed because the doctor says you'll need a lot of sleep. But it is indeed curable."

Everyone in the room--except my her stared at me watery eyed. "Stop.I'm the one with cancer and I'm not crying. But I'm not going with you. Id rather let cancer take over my body painfully, cell by cell."
She glares at me then says "oh yes you are. Now say bye to all your friends then we're leaving." With that she leaves. "Ok everyone here's the plan. I'm gonna jump out the window. Now."
Everyone nods and Shawn goes first. I go second and he catches me. Cameron catches Mahogany and the other boys just jump. "Let's go!" I say. We all start running then I feel someone pick me up. Hayes. "You shouldn't have to run. Your ribs are messed up and it must be hard running with crutches, a broken leg, and a broken wrist." I nod in agreement and we take the bus to Mahogany's house. When we get there Mahogany says "Wait...They know where I live. We should go to Cams house." We all go to the front door I'm still in Hayes' arms when two police cars pull upfront. Wow they're quick. So we run to the back door and sneak out and into Cam's house. "Ok. Jane you have to go in the basement. 3 people can go with you the others need to stay to make sure it's not too suspicious if they storm the house, pick your 3" "Mahogany, Shawn, and Hayes." I say and we all go downstairs and file one by one into the little room in the basement. We squeeze in and I think about how I have cancer, and how I have to live with my mom--if I should even call her that. I'm scared, not of cancer or dieng, but what he said. I have to watch out. I don't know what we just started but my guess is that it not gonna end to nicely.
