Chapter 14

Shy POV-

After I got out the shower, I dried off& looked into the mirror . I started crying again . Am I really on my own ? Are my parents really dead? Do I really have to take care of Simone by myself ? All these thoughts piled up into my head . Shortly after I felt Kevin come up behind me & hug me . I was mad at him but I needed comfort so I turned around & hugged him back. I made a big ass puddle of tears in his shirt. I hope he wouldn't mind. He held me tight& the fact that he hugged my sister tighter than me slipped my mind. He whispered in my ear. " What ever you wanna do baby , I'm down with it " & I looked up & he kissed me . I pulled back& sunk down Into his shirt again . " Come on "I said dragging him into the bedroom. I sat him on the bed and layed on top of him with just my towel. He rapped his arms around my waist & I just layed there . We layed there for about 30 minutes but I fell asleep . Hoping that when I woke up everything was a dream . But when I woke up , I was under my covers & Kev wasn't next to me . I smelt food . So I got up put some Boy shorts on & a tank top, brushed my hair up & put some socks on & went downstairs . I saw Kevin cooking . " Where's my little sister ?" I asked looking around ? " Upstairs sleep" he replied. "Oh ok" I said simply. "Come here baby" he said. I smile and walked over to him, " I love you , how you feel ?" He asked. "I love you too papi" and I feel a lil better .. " I trailed off. "I Just can't believe I won't ever see my parents again . " I teared up. "I know he said" stiring the pot . " Hey do me a favor" I said squeezing his shirt. "Anything Ma he replied. "When your done cooking can you take me to the attic ? To collect the money they hid under the mattress for us please"? I said with my head down? I quickly lifted it up , because I know how he felt about that . " Of course baby" he said kissing me " He always made sure I was alright . I love that about him
