Chapter 48

Karon POV-

We drove to Walmart to get the baby some things .. We got her a car seat a stroller , some food , lotion & stuff & some candles for the bedroom & living room . Then we left . We where hungry & I didn't feel like getting out the car so we just ate McDonalds . After we ate in the parking lot , we drove home , when I pulled up in the drive way . I saw a box sitting out front of the door . Which was strange because mail doesn't come on Tuesdays . Shy asked me what it was & i told her I didn't know . We got out the car & she got the baby . We left the stroller in the trunk untill the morning we were to tired to take it down & put it together & shit like that , we got the bags & I opened the front door . Shy sat the baby down & we waked to the box together, " do you wanna open it?" she said looking at me scared outta her mind . " if you want me to I don't matter " I said grabbing her hands . " I wanna do it " she said letting my hand go. She took her heels off & got on her knees . She opened the box slowly . Opening one flap then the other . She opened but nothing was in it . Untill she bent her head all the way down & she started crying ."What baby what , what is it?" I asked pancking.I got on my knees & she got out the way. I shed a tear . "They burned her body" I whispered . I pulled Shy into a hug . We layed on the floor for almost forever untill. Queen started crying . She got up wiped her tears & took her upstairs to give her a bath . After she fed the baby & put her night clothes on Queen was out like a light . She. came back downstairs to find me still on the floor looking at the box. " baby ? " you okay?" She said. She came back down on her knees .. & gave me a hug ." How can people be so cruel ? & evil to another human being" she said crying into my shirt I could barely hear her .why why ? Why me Karon why me ? Why can't I live a normal life ? With friends & a family ! No baby, no problems just normal" she said. I honestly didn't know the answer. "I know how you feel baby !! It's going be alright " I tried comforting her. "Noo K no it's not" she said getting angry. There going to come after us & try to kill us too ! There going to try & take Queen there going to do it all & we gotta be ready.You hear me ? She asked . My baby was a gangsta. "I hear you baby I do" I said nodding my head. "tomorrow I want you to teach me how to shoot a gun" she said simply. Woah woah woah , you sure about this ? I said looking at her . "I'm dead serious" she said playing with my chin hairs . I'll do whatever to keep my queen happy . "Promise me you won't leave . Promise me we going raise Queen right , promise me , we going do everything together " she said on the verge of tears. "I promise Ra'Shyrah" & we kissed. Just then I heard a glass break upstairs . We jumped str8 up & ran up the steps ! What I saw I was ready to kill !
