Chapter 6: One-Man Team

Ozpin can be seen watching the students on his scroll, but soon his eyes widen.

Glynda then comes up from behind him and comments, "The last pair has been formed, sir. Although...Freyja, has not gotten paired up with anyone."

"Nora Valkyrie and Lie Ren. Poor boy...I can't possibly imagine those two getting along. Still, he's probably better off than Miss Nikos..."

"Hmm..."

"I don't care what his transcripts say. That Jaune fellow is not ready for this level of combat." She then deactivates her tablet before walking back a little.

"Speaking of which, what did you use as relics this year?"

There's a moment of silence.

"Professor Ozpin?"

Ozpin doesn't answer, instead, he's watching his scroll with a contemplating look to his face. Though it chances to a concerned expression.

Freyja's who's currently bleeding out from the slashed wound, is walking towards the forest temple.

To which she stops as she comes to a halt. She feels a cold breeze on her skin and smiles, saying, "Feels nice." Before continuing to walk again.

As she reaches the temple, she tilts her head at the several figures already there. "I can recognize Blake, Yang, Ruby...Weiss and...Jaune. But I don't know the others."

Freyja then hops down onto the ground, causing a loud "thump" noise.

This causes the girls and boy to turn their attention towards Freyja.

"Where were you Frey? I was looking for you all over the forest!" Ruby's silver eyes widen as she glances upon Freyja's wound.

"What happened?!" Ruby rushes over to Frey, slightly panicked.

"Someone attacked me. But it was nothing, Ruby, I'm fine, I'm sure of it." Freyja smiles as she glances over at Ruby, Jaune, Yang and Blake.

"Who did it?" Yang looks at Freyja, cracking her knuckles before frowning. "I'll kick their butt!"

Freyja chuckles before shaking her head. "They escaped. I'm fine, guys." Freyja smiles again as she glances over at Ren and Nora. "Who are they?"

Pyrrha comes up and smiles, "They seem to be friends, although the oranged haired one had just rode on a Ursa."

"Seems legit, yet dangerous." Freyja comments before hearing a loud screech.

"That was-"

Ruby then sweats as she turns her head towards the noise.

"Great, the gang's all here! Now we can die together!" Yang comments, sarcastically.

"Not if I can help it!" Ruby then runs towards the Grimm, yelling out a battle cry. When the two meet, the Grimm swipes Ruby away and she's knocked away.

As she gets up, she responds, "D-Do-Don't worry! Totally fine!"

Ruby then turns her back on the Grimm and shoots it in it's skull, running away from it, sheathing her scythe as the Death Stalker now goes after her.

"Ruby!" Yang yells out.

Ruby rushes towards Yang, but the Nevermore caws above them, flapping it's wings and releasing lines of sharpened feathers with points that catch onto Ruby's cape, preventing Yang from reaching her.

"Ruby, get out of there!" Yang screams, seeing her sister stuck in a Grimmy situation.

Struggling with her cloak, Ruby yells back, "I'm trying!"
