Chapter 15

Ambers Pov

A run I need to run stripping my close I change into my white, black , and grey furred wolf and run. I cant be close to him right now when I am I can't control myself. Running past the house and out of sight into the woods I speed up, running helps me think. I slam a mind block down so no one especially Will can get to me. running and jumping in and out of trees and over logs I finally come to a stop. Sitting down on my hind legs I look around. It's quiet to quiet there are no birds chirping or deer rummaging through the foliage.

Something isn't right a gust a wind blows and that's when I smell it... rogues. They are back and wanna play, well guess what they won't wanna play when I get there. I run following the scent. I come to scratching halt after running through the forest to our open meadow.

Standing out the edge I slowly walk in growling a loud warning telling them I'm here and they have been caught. across the meadow I see the trees start to moves as figures start to emerge. Ten wolves greet me I step out further growling louder, I have a bad feeling about this and my wolf doesn't like it either.

The ten growl back a challenge quick I accept. They charge at me before I can call for backup I'm charging meeting them head on. Running into the first on I clamp my jaw around  his neck and bite hard killing him instantly, I watch him crumple to the the ground and lunge at the next on. The next thing I know I have five rogues on top of me biting and ripping at my fur. I let my mind block down and whimper for help.

Wills POV

I watch her leave feeling the whole in my chest become darker and darker. It kills me to see the love of my life wanting nothing do do with me. I stand in the kitchen for a couple of minutes looking at where she had run off until her mother pulls me out of my trance. " So my husband told me you are shadowing Donald today you best not be late," she says in a motherly tone. I shake my head and nod, " yes right well I best be off," I turn on my heals and swiftly walk out of the room and up to Donald's office.

I arrive at Donald's door and knock. "Come in," he yells I open the door and step inside. "Don't be so stiff son have a seat," he looks up at me and smiles kindly almost a fatherly smile. I smile back relaxing a bit and sit down. " I knew your father," he starts, "a long time ago I knew he would be an amazing beta someday, and I knew his son would also," he looks at me again.

"So when I saw you and recognized you I asked the Alpha if I could train you to take my place," he pauses for a moment, " now I know you were beta for awhile and you had learned from you father but I wanted to see what you know an  either touch up or teach you what you don't know," he stops and waits for my response. I nod, " that sounds perfect I can't wait to get started," "great so first I know I told the Alpha you would be shadowing me today but I changed my mind I'd like to get to know you better." " I smile great ok so what would you like to know?" I ask

He sits still thinking for awhile, while I wait my wolf becomes anxious like some things wrong but I can't place it I can even feel it as well. I push the feeling aside thinking it a just me and Donald says, " you sure do look like your father you know that? I get the same kind yet strong feeling I dot from him from you too." I smile at that, "I miss my father terrible he taught me all he knew, he always said son someday you'll take my place and you are going to do a better job then I ever have because I taught you so well!"

Donald smiles and laughs hard, " that's exactly something he would say." "Son are you ok your kinda pale," he looks at me concern on his face. "Something isn't right I think it's Amber," right when I said the the block come down and I hear he whimper for help. I jump up, " Amber's being attacked by rogues they are hurting my mate!" I begin to shake and anger rages through me, " hey calm down we will go after her you and I right now let's go but you have to calm down and focus anger clouds judgement," Donald says his hands firmly on my shoulder.

I take a deep breath and nod, "let's go," he nods and I run through the house and outside. I don't even stripe my clothes I shift. Looking back seeing Donald right behind me I follow my instinct letting my wolf take us to our mate. I runs as fast as I can adrenaline, anger, and love fueling me to get to her. I run as fast as I can I weave in and out of trees like they aren't even there.

I know now we are going to the meadow I growl, I mind link Amber, " I'm coming baby I'm almost there."  She mind links back, " hurry baby it hurts I need you I can't take them all." I reach the meadow and see them piled on her she can't move my anger flare I see red and I lunge at them with Donald at my heals.

Amber's POV

I get Will 's link and find hope I struggle harder when suddenly I feel the Weight shift and I'm freed. I stand feeling weak but the adrenaline keeps me going. I lunge and jump on the back of a rogue, using my weight I push her over snap her neck and run after the next one. I look at Will to see if he's ok my anger towards him gone. I just want him ok, being distracted a rogue jumps on my and I fall hard.

Donald pulls him off of me and kill him. the rest of the rogues flee only five of them left. We stand ridged until we know for sure they are gone. Will trots up to me and licks my face, I lick his back and nuzzle him. I'm about to shift when my whole world goes black and it gets hard to breath. I fall to the ground with a thump the last thing I hear is Will yelling, "BABY!" before I've finally blacked out barley breathing.

sorry for not updating for so long I've had a lot of troubles with this chapter and I've been going through Alot of stuff lately so it's Been hard but I'm back and not going anyway normal updates will hopefully start again thank you guys so much I love you all!!!!!
