Chapter 2

   Looking in the mirror shocked to see what looking back at me, "you made me look pretty," I tell my mom. "No you've never been pretty you've always been beautiful," she says with a tear falling from one eye," why are you crying," I asked be gently and turning to face her "you're just so grown up and beautiful," she replies taking my hand softly in hers we walk out of my room to meet dad who is probably bored out of his wits waiting on us.

   "WOW you two look absolutely gorgeous," he says Standing up to face us looking us over," are my two lovely ladies ready to go?" He asks. We both say yes and head to the car. I wonder how this is going to go I think to myself. I climb into the back of the truck, buckle, and we pull out the pack house becoming a small speck and disappearing behind us.

   We arrive at the restaurant we climb out of the car, My father takes one of our hands in each of his, and walk inside. The Alpha and his Luna are waiting for us inside looking eager to talk about their move. They both stand up "Aldren," my father says shaking his hand, "Alistair," he replies shaking his hand back. "This is my mate Ember and my daughter Amber," my father gestures to both of us.

   "Nice to meet you both this is my mate Elena." "Hello," she says walking right over toward me. "You are beautiful," she says! "and I love the dress it's short which shows off your legs and complements your figure, the open toe white heels look great and your hair curled like that looks amazing." "Thank you," "you must like clothes," I say and we all take our seats.

   'Actually I do I always wanted to be a designer,'' She replies. The waiter come with a round of water and menus. My dad and Aldren instantly start talking about pack stuff. I look over and notice a person watching us.

   "Elena who is that," I ask her. "Oh that's Will. We asked him to come with just in case." I look at Will and I feel my body start to tingle, now getting the feeling that I want him to be mine and no one else's. what's going on with you I think to myself you just got out of a relationship and you want him now! What are you thinking I sigh and break eye contact. The waiter comes back and takes our order.

   While we wait for our food I get that feeling that someone is watching me. I turn to see that it's Will. He just stares at me with that wanting expression. I smile at him and he smiles back. I turn my head and try to ignore him. Our food arrives only a few minutes later. My parents have been deep in conversation since we arrived. My dad has seemed to hit it off with this guy. I bet they will be best friends before the night is over I think to myself.

    We finish dinner getting up from the table we say our goodbyes. I take one more look at Will's handsome face before we leave. We are in the car when my dad says,"I'm glad they are moving here I think this will be a good thing," " I agree,'' my mom's replies. " What about u Amber what do you think?" My father asks. "I also think this will be a good idea I smile." Ha, they are like best friends I think to myself.

     When we get home I hug my mom and kiss my dad goodnight. Finally making it up the stairs and to my room I sigh. Walking in I shut the door behind me and strip all of my clothes off. I pull my hair down and wipe the makeup off of my face. I walk right into my closet to pick out a pair of pj's. I change and fall into my bed. I roll over and snuggles into my pillows and blankets. I close my eyes and drift off to sleep thinking about Will's smile and the feeling that he leaves in the pit of my stomach.
