Chapter 1

Ok are y'all ready for chapter 1 !? I'm gonna try to make the chapters kinda long. I hope I got u hooked;) I purposely didn't give any details lol. Ok y'all I hope u like it! Seriously I want to know what you think leave me a comment. Btw when I give details on characters I would love to hear what actor they could play their part;) and chapters will be dedicated to people enjoy!!;)

Chapter 1

"What the hell!!!" I scream as I roll over, flinging my arm hitting my alarm clock just a little too hard, smashing it into pieces against the wall.

"Oops," I mumble, "second alarm clock this week." And another nightmare. I sit up and grumble as I stretch,"Time for another boring day." I climb out of bed and waltz lazily into the bathroom brushing teeth but in the middle of brushing my long curly red hair comes a knock on my door.

"Come in!" I yell the door opens and my mom's soft footsteps follow the sound of my voice. "Good morning sweety," my mom says from just behind me,"You look beautiful."

"Thanks," I say and and smile walking past her to continue getting ready for the day ahead."Now remember, get home early tonight. We have to go meet the new Alpha and Luna," my mom says following me with her eyes.

"Yes mom," i say as i gather the rest of my stuff stressful enough being the daughter of the strongest pack in the U.S let's add another pack in town great. I continue to mumble under my breath. I grab my keys kiss my mom's cheek and walk out of my room and down the stair. I know dads in his office so i swing through to say goodbye to him to. "Have a good day darling he says never lifting his eyes from what he's reading," "always do," i mumble sarcastically and head for my jeep.

I pull into the parking lot right next to my best friend Emery's car. Turning off the car i slide out and while taking my first step. I slip.

"Going down," I think to myself but i never hit the ground someone caught me.

"You ok," his all too familiar says to me.

I look up at his face and am instantly embarrassed "I'm fine," I say, pulling myself out of his grasp taking a few big steps back.

"Good," he says giving me an awkward look stuffing his hands into his pockets. He turns gracefully on his heals he walks away.

Emery watches from a few feet away holding in her laughter, she walks the few feet to my side. We start walking towards the school when Emery breaks the silence "I can't believe you two broke up, I mean he was totally the coal to your ember," she giggles. "Haha get it! Cause his name is Cole and your name is Amber," she laughs gasping for air as we walk into the school. "You think you hilarious don't you?" I say trying to hold back the smile that's threatening to tug at my lips. "Very much so yes," she says till giggling slightly.

We finally make it to our lockers as i say"Cole wasn't the one. You know that we grew apart. It was him pushing me away remember?"

"I know she says." The smile dropping from her lips her eyes meet mine. "Are you ok'" i'm fully aware of the question she asked but I ignore it changing the subject.

"Well today's gonna be boring," I say, I also have to go to that damn dinner to meet the new alpha that's moving into town! I grumble as I grab my period one books.

The bell rings as Emery tries to say something. "Bye" I say cutting her off ,"you can tell me later see u soon." I turn on my heals as well walking into my first hour class math ugh! I hate math I mumble under my breath as I sit down in my desk at the back of the room. I instantly start doodling on the cover of my note book with a sharpie when a crumpled piece of paper lands on my desk right on top of my doodle.

I open it to find Alex's hand writing on it "will you go out with me?" It reads. Alex is Cole's best friend he knows it's never going to happen so I don't get why he still tries . I throw the paper back at him, it hits his head he looks back at me and winks so i shoot him a glare in return. "Stupid boy," I mutter turning back to my notebook.

The rest of the day goes by the same boring and uneventful as ever! I'm in my last hours class English this is my favorite subject of them all. Right before the bell rings Mrs. Lee says,"now remember class we will have a quiz first thing Monday so study and come to class prepared." The bell rings I collect my books and head for my locker.

At my locker Alex comes and leans next to me,"so how about that date?" He winks at me," you know Cole and I just broke up what do you think the answer is?" "Awe come on please," he says fake pouting "I'm sorry," I say "I can't and don't want to right now." "Aha! That's not a no that means I still have a chance." he shouts at my turned back as i'm walking way. Rolling my eyes I head for my car, get in turn the music up and drive home. The drive home is quite I'm starting to get nervous. I scoff at myself, " girl chill how bad could it really be." I mutter to myself eyes still locked on the road I sigh and just drive.

When I get home my mom is instantly pulling me out of my car," come on she says I have the perfect outfit for you!" She squeals she pulls me into the the house and up to my room," where's dad I ask?" "Getting in his office doing a few things before we leave," she says now let's get you ready. I let her drag me behind her and hope she at least makes me look presentable.
