There will be a few changes, one of the bigger ones being your Dragon. Tbh is haven't been keeping up with HTTYD and I only really remember the movies. I'll try to watch some for the shows and stuff so I can be more accurate with my things. But since you all have been waiting for this for quite a while I will do chapter two before I start watching it all.

The young girl gasped as she was pinned under the heavy beast, her cry cut short as she felt the air leave her lungs. He could only grunt and wiggle weakly under her attacker. Her eyes slowly focused on the creature above her and she hardly even realized that her breathing had returned. She panted heavily as she gazed up at the dragon on astonishment.

It was like nothing she had ever seen back on Strokson that was for sure.

The beast was snow white, not a single change in it's coloration anywhere to be seen. It's body was sleek and smooth, wings large. It just looked terrifying and powerful.

What got her the most were it's eyes. They were wide and curious, the prettiest shade of red she had ever seen.

The beast seemed to almost chortle at her reaction, as if finding her transfixed gazed hilarious. Y/n felt heat rise to her cheeks out of embarrassment but before she knew it she was in an uncontrollable giggling fit. She rolled onto her side and gasped for air in between her giggles and it took her a few good moments to settle down, pushing herself up slowly.

Then she really got a good look at what had pounced on her. Before she knew it she was staring again.

It struck a chord with her and she soon realized what it was. They were only legends where she had grown up, but they were still very much so known.

It seemed to be a Nightfury. A snow white, red eyed Nightfury.

From that moment she knew somewhere deep down, that they had an odd, special body that had drawn them together for such a fateful encounter.

Y/n and that creature had easily grown close after that night, having bonded with ease. Despite being two totally different species they found themselves to be very in tune with one another, almost like twins might be.

Now, they were bonded as dragon and rider.

Y/n kept herself low to her saddle as D/n (dragon name) tore through the air at breakneck speed, both eager to see what would await them in Berk.

Her father had sent her as a researcher to see what species were most common in Berk and she had glad accepted the mission. She was the head of research for dragon in Strokson after all.

She controlled the breeding, caring, and taking of most dragons in her homeland. She even taught lessons in how to ride dragons and breed them for those who were interested.

The teen grinned as she saw the faint lights ahead, fires lighting the large torches that signalled you had arrived. One hand slowly felt along the leather pouch that contained her message for the chief, a message from her father stating her business.

Even though the two settlements hasn't had contact in many years. There was still a trust between them that her father felt was strong enough for him to let her go.

Y/n was definitely overjoyed and excited to see what dragons she would encounter, but she knew she shouldn't get her hopes up in case she was sent right back to Strokson. She and her dragon bolted over the gates and straight towards what she assumed to be the chiefs home.

D/n barely managed to land on the roof without crashing into it, definitely making some noise in the process. Y/n winced, knowing they had probably just woken up whoever was inside. Well, at least she assumed that were asleep seeing as it was the dead of night.

She sighed and slipped off her dragon and into the room just below her, not aware that the chief had a son. Before she knew it she was trapped under another body, her arms tightly held behind her back and chest painfully pressing against the cold wood of the floor.

"State your business, intruder" he voice hissed. She tensed up, a involuntary groan leaving her. She was still sore from all of the flying and this certainly wasn't doing her any good.

"I... I'm Y/n Todesbringer, daughter of Arlo Todesbringer. I come with a letter from Strokson, to chief of Berk" she told the stranger calmly. She tried not to squirm too much, but it was kind of hard not to.

"Hm? Strokson you say" a voice mused. The person on top over her shifted a little, pushing up but effectively pushing her further into the ground. She whimpered but kept her cool, knowing she didn't have the strength to fight at the moment.

"It's ok son, you can trust her. Now let her up, you've squashed the poor thing half to death" the voice chuckled. The young teen felt the weight leave her back and she gave a soft sigh before slowly getting up, only to see a bear of a man standing before her.

"Welcome to Berk, lass" he hummed.
