Essi was going through her R&B playlist that her and Auggie used to listen to on Sundays after surfing on the plane.
Her mom and her just boarded and she already hated it.
Even though she just left she missed the ocean. She missed surfing. She missed the soft white sand between her toes. She missed the warm sun with sand in her hair with her yellow board in one hand and Auggie's hand in the other.
"im sorry, sweetheart,"
Essi takes her right ear bug out of her ear and and sits up while opening her eyes she didn't realized she closed.
"i just need to reach over you really quick to put my bags in the little storage unit if you dont mind."
a woman with glasses long brown hair and high wasted pants on said.
"oh yeah..um.. no problem."
"thanks!"
she smiles and Essi reflect it on her own face.
"i have the window seat, but I dont like to sit there, you can sit in my spot if you would like!"
"thanks"
she smiles lightly and scoots over seeing the runway and the wing of the plane. It was a good view. Essi's mom was sitting behind her already out like a light.
'this is going to be a long 20 hour flight'
she told herself.
"Im May,"
"Im Essi,"
Essi shook her hand she was holding out and smiled, yet again.
"you know Essi, you are very beautiful,"
Essi blushed at the compliment that was given to her.
"I think you and my Nephew would be cute together."
"um..thanks?"
They both let out a soft laugh and May spoke again.
"His name is Peter. he lives with me though, he lost his parents at a young age, but he is a very smart boy, and very handsome if i may say myself."
"..."
"oh! are you with someone?"
"what?- no, no, no- I just think it's funny you are putting your nephew out there when he isn't here."
"Well..that's what good aunts do right? Am I going to far?"
"No no! I think he will deeply appreciate your kind gesture. Please, go on!"
They both laughed again and May went on and on about peter.
