Chapter 9: Dumbfounded
Sky's POV:
"Do you know how awesome you are?" I asked Bloom as I put a cold cloth on her forehead. "Uhm.. very awesome?" She asked. "In a scale out of 10, I'd give you an 100" I told her. "Hihi *giggle* Thanks, but to be honest, I think anybody could have done that." She said like it was not a big deal. "Honey, this is a big deal! No one is THAT strong! I am so lucky to be engaged to such a powerful princess!" I said a little bit louder than intended, but at least it made her smile.
After a while of relaxing and conversation with Bloom about the wedding, Stella and the Winx came in exhausted but as well proud of their work. "Phew! Finally those un cool freak witches are gone!" Stella exclaimed. "Congratz guys! You did it!" Bloom said tiredly. "Bloom, what are you talking about? We hardly did anything, you did everything! You defeated the freaking legandarium book!" Musa practically shouted of happiness.
"That we know of...for all we know, I could've broken the book but the spells live on somehow else, maybe through a different power source or host-"
"Bloom, can you just celebrate the fact that we won!" Musa interrupted. I am starting to think that Bloom doesn't seem to believe that she actually did it, even though she did.
Bloom's POV:
Why is everyone obsessed with a tiny little thing I did? I mean this is just like the time I defeated Baltor or Tritannus or Lord Darkar. " Guys, I shouldn't take all the credit, I mean you defeated the Trix and you still appear to be in one piece!" I said to clear out their minds.
"Bloom, do you not know what you just did?" Stella asked as if I was dumbfounded. "Let me use this bug to id-" Tecna said until I cut her out. "Guys! I know what I did... its just that... I don't want ALL the attention on me... " I said to finally let my true feelings out to them. "Why not? Whats wrong with that?" Flora asked politely.
"I don't know it just makes me feel all the pressure and weight on my shoulders and... my wedding is in a month from now." I said quickly.
"There it is. Cold feet, *giggle*. Bloom that is absolutely normal to be nervous about, but that doesn't mean you have to shut out the fantastic moments you make!" Daphne said in her beautiful soothing voice. "I guess you're right." I said finally giving in. "Now girls, you know what that means!" Stella shouted. "Shopping?" Tecna asked quietly. "YES! Lets go!" Stella said as she created a portal and dragged us all in. "Bye honey!" I said quickly before I got transported to the mall.
We shopped for 8 hours. I am soooo tired! "Hey Mus! Look at that hot dress, it tota-" Stella was about to say until she got cut off my Musa. "Look Stell, I know you love shopping and that you could shop non stop but I think, and I am probably talking for everyone here, that we need a long relaxing break of your marvelous shopping!" "Well, if thats what you want then... we can continue tomorrow." Stella said a little bit disappointed. "Don't be sad Stell, we'll come tomorrow don't worry!" Flora said that made her feel better because I noticed her pretty smile appearing on her face. We flew back to Alfea to settle in since we left for such while from teaching.
*Next Day*
I woke up this morning by the sound of my heart shaped alarm on my bed side table. "Flora! Wakey wakey!" I shouted as I heard mumbles from under the covers of Flora's bed. I walked into Stella's room to wake her up since she wouldn't wake up on her own. "Wake up sunshine!" I shouted. I went to the kitchen and I saw the rest of the girls already up setting the table to eat breakfast. " Hey Bloom, pass me the PB, will yah?" Musa called.
"Sure! Here you go!" And with a snap of my fingers, the peanut butter flew towards Musa. "You surely love peanut butter don't you?" I asked her. "Well, yah! Totes!" She answered.
After we finished eating breakfast we left to teach our classes, of course we all set out towards our own schedules because we all are teachers of different subjects. I am heading to my class, I teach how to control your power and how to act in different situations- basically strategy of what to do if you don't have magic. Stella teaches how to camouflage in dangerous situations using fashion- ironic, Flora teaches how to communicate with nature and tracking animal prints, Tecna teaches newly made databases and (similar to Flora) Tracking someone using a simple spell or two, Musa teaches how to communicate using music, and Aisha teaches how to defend yourself with no magic.
"Okay class, take out your notebooks and write 5 basic rules you need to survive a thunder storm without magic." I said as I put my books on my desk and snapped my fingers to let the chalk write what I want it to write on the chalkboard. "Miss! Miss! Miss! I got the answers!" Cindy, a student from my class said frantically raising her hand. "Okay! Cindy, go ahead." I said. And so far, my class ended up being a fun class. My students are very kind and they do what they are told, so my day is pretty much okay.
My day finally ended with students, classes, teaching! I am really excited because I am meeting my future mother in law to have lunch, and talk about the upcoming wedding! I got a call from Samara that we would have a change of plans and that she's sorry blah blah blah and that we will have other guests joining us, I am ok with that, I just don't want the nice evening to be ruined since lunch turned into dinner.
