i walked into the defence against dark arts classroom and made my way to the other side of the back of the room to talk to an exhausted sirius black.
"um, hi," i mumbled.
his head flew up from the table that it was resting on. "uh, hey."
"i wanted to talk to you about what happened," i said quietly, keeping my head down and looking at my feet.
"oh, um yeah, sure, uh," he said hastily, pulling out the chair next to him. i sat down and started talking and ranting.
"i'm so sorry i was being a bitch and you didn't deserve to be treated like that. i was an asshole and kept getting all in your business and you told me to stop and i didn't. it was childish of me and i'm really sorry."
he raised his eyebrows and chuckled, saying "me too. i fucked up and i'm sorry."
"so are we good?"
"yeah i guess s—"
"where you are sitting at the moment is where you will be sitting for the rest of the semester until christmas break," professor witlough announced.
"oh merlin, i'm really sorry i'm sure that i can switch with james or re—"
"it's fine. i sit with the lot of them in most classes. it's nice to switch things up now and again. how're you doing?"
"i'm well. hasn't been the same without my own personal tour guides. i was late a few times," i laughed.
"ah, that's where you were. i thought you were up to mischief!""no, that won't start until tonight."
"what do you mean?"
"malfoy's hair is way too blonde for my liking."
"i like the way you think, hue."

after classes, i went back to the dorms because i was very tired, once again. then again, i normally was, so nothing new. i ended up sleeping past dinner and i didn't wake up until around 9.
"ivory you've slept for 6 hours. you literally just took a 6 hour nap. why did you just take a 6 hour nap!" sirius laughed.
"i don't feel good."
"oh i'm sorry. i can go get james and we can go get you some food and pumpkin juice," he offered, taking a seat on my bed.
"that's alright. i think i'll just go get something later."
"okay well at least let me go with you. i don't want you getting sick with no one there to help you," sirius insisted. he had a look in his eyes that told me he was going with me either way.
"you don't like vomit," i told him.
"nobody likes vomit. i've just had my fair share growing up. but i'll be fine; i want to help you. please let me help you."
damn those grey eyes. "fine."
"alright. let's go."
"what?"
"let's go eat."
"i said i will later. i'm not hungry yet."
shit. he probably hasn't eaten yet. "never mind. let's go."
