Chapter 35

Luke's POV

I woke up and rolled over and fell out of couch and I groaned. I looked at my phone and it was 8:45 A.M. so I decide to buy Emma some Starbucks.

I go to the Starbucks in the hotel.

"Can I have... Two dark coffees, a blueberry muffin, and a chocolate one please?" I tell the cashier

"Right away" After 5 minutes or so of waiting someone gave me my order.

"Thanks" I tell the boy grabbing my coffees and going upstairs.

"Morning sunshine" I tell Emma when I walk in the room and see Emma shuffling through the channels.

"Hey. Where were you?"

"Getting us some coffees"

"Aww thanks Luke" She thanks me while I hand her her coffee.

we were watching tv and drinking our coffees in silence.

"Luke..?"

"Tell me?"

"What are we?..."

"What do you want us to be?"

"I don't know.. I've never been in a relationship..."

"What? Really?" I ask her trying to contain my laugh.

"It's not funny" She growled at me.

"I'm sorry it's just that wow... You're so gorgeous... how is it you've never been in a relationship?"

"I don't know..."

"Was I you're first kiss too?"

"of course not! my first kiss was in kindergarden! you were my second one.." She told me blushing and burrying her eyes in her hands.

"Don't be like that. It's actually really cute that I'm your second kiss" I tell and I know she's blushing harder even though I can't see her face.

"Thanks" She said lifting her head.

"I was thinking maybe that today we could go to Central Park, then to the Memorial of the Twin Towers, and at night we can go to the Empire States"

"W- what? We're going to the Twin Tower?" She says with a sad look on her face

"Yes. You don't want to go?"

"Yes of course" She tells me walking away but I know she's upset still. I just don't know why..

"Where are you going?" I ask her

"To take a bath.. You should too"

"Then I'm coming with you" I tell her standing up

"Umm.. No" She tells me cooly and then starts laughing.

"Why not?" I ask her again

"Because I will feel uncormfortable!"

"Please?" I ask her with puppy eyes.

"No" She says getting in the bathroom and slaming the door in my face.

Damn she's driving me crazy..

Emma's POV

I start the hot water and immediately my muscles relaxed. I really wanted Luke to come in with me... But I need to keep it controled. After a 10 minute shower I get out of the bathroom and rush to the the room witout making any noise to make Luke look at me since I'm only in a towel. I get in the room and let the towel fall to the ground. I was gonna put my underwear on but someone walked in and I tuned around covering up myself.
