Chapter 25

My eyes burst open and the light hit them. My eyes can't bear the light so I close them immediately. Once I adjust to the light I open them once again and found my self in a hospital room.. I didn't die... It was just a nightmare.. Thank God.. I start to look around the room and see Emma in the sofa next to the hospital bed asleep.

"Emma" I try to say but it come out in whisper. I decide to grab a piece of paper and throw it at her. Luckily it hits her and she wakes up. As soon as she sees me awake she smiles and runs to me and hugs me. I hug her back and I can't help but smile too.
"Omg Luke! You're alive!"
"Yes I am. How long have I been here?"
"A couple of weeks.. You were in a coma.."
"Why?"
"You had a car crash.. When you finished talking with me. I see her face drops and she looks down letting a few tears fall in the ground
"Hey" I say lifting her chin up "don't cry. I'm here. With you. It can't be better" with that she plants a small kiss on my lips and I'm surprised. I'm alway the one who kisses first. I lean closer and kiss her. When we pull away she jumps with a worried look
"What's wrong beautiful?"
"I gotta tell the doctor! I'll be right back!"

A few minutes later she returns with the doctor and he makes me drink all these pills. He also told me I needed to stay two more nights in the hospital because they need to run some test to check that everything is fine.

"Don't worry Luke. I'm staying here.. With you.." Emma said and I couldn't help but smile..
