Omaha, Nebraska  1:30pm

Closing the car's trunk and checking if it's closed for sure, I get inside my car ready to back out of my apartment garage and head to the place where we agreed to meet at.

"Lorena!" Nate shouts outside of my window, hearing his voice mumble when he said my name and making me jump putting my hand over my heart.

I open the door as while Nate is laughing, "Jesus, Nate. You scared me." I say smiling at him so that he won't think that I got mad.

"Wassup, Lor? How have you been?" He asks going in for a hug as I hug him back.

"I'm fine. How about you?"

He lifts his arms then lets them fall back in place as he shrugs his shoulders, "Eh, you know."

"How am I gonna know when I haven't known for you in about 5 years?" I cross my arms and chuckle.

He sighs, "Just my everyday routine. Work in an Italian restaurant at nights and then go out and get turnt on the weekends, you know what I mean?" He shows his dimples and smiles showing his white teeth.

"Ugh, you never changed, did you?" I ask, rolling my eyes.

"Never will." He sticks his tongue out and clicks his fingers then pointing his index finger at me while he winks.

I shake my head watching the road to see if the others are coming. And they are.

Nine cars are driving themselves towards us as they all come in with a smile in their faces.

All of them get out running up to us and hug each other all in a crowd.

"Eeeh! Guys, I'm so happy to see all of y'all, guys!" Michelle says as we let go of each other.

"Me too! Oh my God, we're finally with each other again! Back like in high school." Miyah adds.

Everyone soon begins to hug each other and talk while I go ahead and talk to the Jack's.

"Hi, guys." I say walking up to them.

They both give me a hug and step back.

"Wassup, Lorena? How you been?" Johnson asks.

"I've been fine. Lots of traveling to do but I'm well enough." I say as I look to my other friends who are all laughing and talking happily.

"Yeah, same for me. Being a tourist is difficult and boring. Do you know how much lines I have to remember and go over many times?" Johnson asks me as if I knew the answer.

I squint my eyebrows together, "Uh no. I don't." I say.

"Well, it's hard."

"What about you, Jack?" I ask turning my attention to him.

"Good. My boss was killing me with his yellings and pointing his fingers at me the whole time, so thank God I needed this break for a while." He says, running his hands through his hair.
