I know what some of y'all are thinking: another case of a female who is going to go under the knife. Plastic, like Nicki Minaj, right?
Hell no!
You see something, their was no need for me, to get any type of plastic surgery. I was never ugly.
I have always been beautiful: pretty, sexy, gorgeous, scrumptious, and delectable.
But since, my classmates thought I was ugly, I believed them. We all do it. When people tell us our hair is, messed up, or ratchet, we might say "Whatever" or "No its not" or "mind your business. We keep the Your opinion doesn't matter attitude, my hair is fine out loud, but as soon, as they walk away, we check our hair. Why?
Its because we aren't content with ourselves. Until we are, we will continue to accept others criticism and discard our own.
Its the truth ladies. We might not like it, but its a fact.
That's why, Teirria, me, needed to change myself. First it would have to happen internally. Cause you can't, run a car, if the pipes, and wiring aren't properly done.
I needed to find me. As soon as possible.
