"It's been quite a year hasn't it?"Draco asked, looking at himself through the mirror, fixing up his hair perfectly.

Harry came up behind him, wrapping his arms around the blonde's torso."Yeah, it has."He rested his chin on Draco's shoulder."I'm just glad we've been together for such a long time, and no one's tried to kill us since the Carrows."

Draco laughed, and turned his head to kiss Harry on the cheek."It feels good."

Harry let go of his boyfriend."Doesn't it?"he plopped down on the bed, Gypso immediately hopping up onto his chest with a happy purr."

"So what is it you've got planned for today?"Draco asked, turning away from his all too perfect reflection, and crossing his arms."You haven't given me any hints whatsoever, and I'm getting antsy."

"Well for starters,"Harry scratched Gypso behind the ear,"I just thought we could go out and enjoy the snow with our friends."

"Enjoy the snow? How-?"

Harry sat up and stared at him incredulously,"There's a lot of ways to enjoy winter, you know."He paused."Wait, have you ever gone ice skating?"

"What's ice skating?"

"Oh Merlin, you've got a lot to learn love."

"You expect me to walk onto a frozen body of water?" Draco asked, staring at the frozen lake before him, feeling very odd in ice skates.

Pansy walked right past him and began gliding."Oh don't be such a scaredy cat Dray. I thought the amazing Draco Malfoy could be good at anything."

"Is that right?"Blaise asked, joining her."Because to me, it seems he's petrified."

The two laughed, Draco shooting knives at them through his glare.

Not far in the frozen lake stood Hermione and Ron.

"Well it can't be that difficult,"Ron said, walking into the ice, Hermione holding his hand. The moment she let go, and he stepped in, he slipped and fell right on his bottom. They all laughed as his face and ears turned a bright shade of red.

Harry turned back to Draco a warm smile on his face, offering both hands."Come on, just try it. I won't let go, alright?"

He looked at Harry warily."Promise?"

"I promise. Now come on, I swear it's fun once you get the hang of it."

With a sigh, Draco grabbed hold of Harry's hands and let himself be led into the ice. Immediately, he felt like slipping, and he wondered if someone cast a Jelly-Legs Jinx on his legs. Harry pulled him in closer.

"Here, you can stand behind me and wrap your arms around my waist. Follow my feet and how I move them, alright?"

"Don't fall on your bum Draco!"Blaise called, laughing from a distance. He tried to nudge Pansy's arms, but instead nudged the air and slipped, landing onto his own bum."Ow!"

Draco snickered as his arms wrapped around Harry."Serves you right Zabini!'

Throughout the morning, Harry gave Draco small lessons on ice skating, and he learned incredibly fast. Though a part of Harry was sure that he learned quickly just to best Pansy and Blaise, and rub it in their faces. He almost fell once or twice, but Harry made sure he didn't. The same didn't apply to Ron, who was sure his bottom was bruised by the end of the morning. "It's because Hermione's too fast!" was his excuse when he fell down even though she was guiding him down the ice.
